Dr. Robert J. Sullivan, MD

He’s my favorite doctor!! At first he was a little intimidating but he has to be in my opinion. He’s right to the point, honest, concerned and he has helped me so much!! I have shots and he try’s his best to be easy as much as he can. I have so much RESPECT for him!! My advice is, give him a chance, prove yourself by being honest. He will help you if your willing to help yourself. Respect this Doctor he deserves it!! His responsibility, career is always on the line and he takes it very seriously!!! I use to drive over an hour because he’s the best! Now it’s less than 30 minutes. I hope this helps someone.

I read Dr. Sullivan’s notes about my appointment & not to much is accurate. I wish I would of recorded my visit. So after my initial complaint on here, I want to set the record straight!! He said I asked for something for pain & I NEVER ONCE asked him for ANYTHING!! I told him the PT & gabepentin wasn’t working & I just wanted the pain to stop. He said he had told me I wasn’t a candidate for pain meds on my 1st visit... no he did not and I NEVER asked for or said anything about pain meds. He lied about that my crying stopped once he “yelled” he wasn’t giving me any pain meds which I DIDNT ASK FOR!! & said I shook my head ok. NO I DIDN’T!! I was in tears the entire time I was in his office & upon leaving the building. I just wanted him to go away at that point because of how he was treating me & how upset he had made me from the time he walked in the door. He had a major attitude toward me & has emotionally scarred me with all doctors. He’s made me feel like, if I say I’m in pain or… something is wrong, then all doctors will look at me & treat me like a drug seeker or something & that I’m not worth helping. If the medical board would read all his negative reviews then maybe they’d see something is wrong with this man. I read a comment where someone thinks that negative reviews are coming from people who are wanting opioids... well I’d of been ok with anything besides an opioid if it made my pain stop. We all aren’t drug addicts!! Some of us just want to lead a somewhat normal life again. So, please read his notes after your visit because chances are, he’s telling a totally different story than what happened on your visit. We all can’t be liars. FYI, I have NEVER complained against anyone but his behavior was so outrageous & unacceptable that I don’t want anyone to ever be made to feel like I do.

Walked out while I was talking, actually made me cry because of the way he spoke to me. He treated me like I was beneath him. It was my 2nd visit & he flat out acted like I was a drug addict when I told him PT & gabepentin wasn’t working. He informed me that he couldn’t help me. I was speechless & left in a room crying. Stay away from this so called doctor

Sullivan must be have his friends come here and write good reviews. He is only in it for the money. He should not be practicing medicine. If it were up to me, he would never see another injured or sick person again.

Dr Sullivan has no bed side Manor and absolutely no concerns for his patients! He is always in a rush and has no alternative to his opinion!! Find another Dr before you get stuck with him!

I believe one individual is writing multiple negative reviews concerning this Dr. I have been under the care of Dr. Sullivan for approx three years, and he has been compassionate , knowledgeable, and listens to my concerns/questions. Unfortunately, when it comes to pain patients, many get angry with their physician when not given what they are after- I believe the person responsible for these negative comments has an axe to grind...

Dr. Robert has always been very interested with my complaints and has been a true gentleman., would recommend him to anyone who has real problems not just looking for drugs. Always very understanding, takes much time in office with me and very under standing .Best Doctor in town. Lou C.

I don’t understand the negative comments in some of the reviews shown here about Dr. Sullivan. That isn’t the description I would give based on my experiences. I have seen him twice now, 5 months apart, for epidural shots in my lower back. He was excellent and helped me get relief from the pain that I have because of spinal stenosis and inflammation. He is gentle and caring when he gives the shots. I highly recommend him. His nursing staff is excellent as well. I felt their concern for my comfort following my procedure. They are an excellent complement to his medical services. I hope others who have good experiences will write a review to share their experiences.

I had a wonderful appointment today with Dr. Sullivan. He cared about my issues and listened to all my sport injuries before performing epidural shot in my back. He recommended certain options to continue with my healing.
