Dr. Robert Paul Svoboda, MD

I have been trying to get into this doctor because he had good reviews. My dad has been seeing a gastro doctor for years and his stomach has only gotten worse. Naturally we decided to get a brand new doctor In hopes of getting my dad the help he needs. This doctor, through his receptionist/nurse, declined to see my doctor because according to her, he said he does not see patients that already have an established doctor. Well I am trying to get a new gastro doctor established. I've never heard of a doctor declining to see a new patient Because he has seen a doctor. I'm sure I will find a very good doctor that Will show kindness and be happy to accept a new patient who Is in dire need of help after years of serious stomach .

Dr. Svoboda is a WONDERFUL physician. He is not only knowledgeable but one of the most caring and patient doctors I have ever had. He never minimizes what and how his patients say they feel. He takes the time to talk with patients and not talk at patients.

I found Dr. Svoboda to be kind, courteous and knowledgeable in his field. I will recommend him to anyone whom I know that is in need of a Gastroenterologist. I felt comfortable in speaking to him about my symptoms and did not feel rushed during our conversation. To me, he is one of the best!

I have been seeing Dr. Svoboda for a couple of years now. I think he is a great Doctor. He listens to every thing I have to say. He is never in a hurry to rush out the door. To me that is very important. He explaines every thing to me to where I understand what is happening to me. If I haden't been sent to him for U.C. when I did, I donit know if I would be in as good as shape medicaly if it wasn't for him. Thank you Dr. Svoboda.

My overall experience with Dr Svoboda has been great. He is a young doctor with just a few years after his fellowship but he is very clear on the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and recommendations. He has received several awards as a resident and fellow. I am very satisfied with my decision to change my GI Doc (my previous doc was supposed to be better in terms of experience and med school etc but sometimes those things can be deceiving)
