Dr. Robert Talac, MD, PhD

I went to Dr Talac knowing the many benefits of PRF, as I use it in my dental practice. Dr Talac is very thorogh, easy to communicate with, and is an expert in the emerging field of PRF to generate bloodflow and healing in areas of the back that are often difficult or long to heal because of minimal ciculation in these areas. The PRF worked wonders for me - Dr Talac first repaired a herniated disk using PRF injections in 2022. Another MRI in 2023 compared to the original in 2022 was nothing short of Amazing! It had healed and there was no evidence of bluging at all (just decreased disk height from the lost fluid, but there is nothing you can do about that). Now I have been to him a few times for more PRF because the muscles that compensate to help stabilize my L5 to S are easily irritated and the PRF heals them much quicker than if I were to wait months. This is new and exciting advancement in would healing and treatment and I am so thankful and lucky that I have found Dr Talac. … He really goes out of his way to make sure I undestand what is going on and also to get me in to see him as well. Before him, I was worried I may have to have surgery soon, but for now, this is doing the trick. I may need it someday down the road, but I am happy to have him and his PRF in the meatime.

I recently went with Dr. Talac for PRF injections. It was about 7k, and was a much regretted transaction on my end. Definitely isn't the "premium product", and doesn't deserve that title whatsoever. The injection didn't work out for me unfortunately - however that isn't a guaranteed thing in any case, so he's not to blame. The issue with Dr. Talac is that he is with you 100% before the treatment, until he makes the sale. The office is responsive, and willing to chat & help out. However, as soon as you receive treatment that all changes. His pitch to us was the fact that he provides a program for post-treatment, which is part 2 of the recovery phase (most important part as well from his words). He told us that he would take me through this process step-by-step, and we'd create the program together to customize it for my needs. Instead, they didn't even follow through with part 2 of recovery, and didn't give me a personalized program. Dr. Talac told me to go get tests from a lab for… $1100, but wouldn't even tell me what they are called. I tried doing research to figure out more on what I was about to get tested for, and when I told him I didn't find anything he proceeded to tell me to find another practitioner and that he wouldn't help me anymore. All because I tried finding out more research for some tests that he wouldn't tell me anything about (he wouldn't even tell me the correct names of them). Very very unprofessional, and lacks respect for patients after he makes the sale. Lastly, the office is very difficult to reach. It's only he and his wife who work there (website says differently, however those people are nowhere to be seen at his office). They are AWFUL at responding via phone and email. Each time I send an email, I need to follow up 2-3 times in order to get a response. The response doesn't come until a week later either. They never pick up the phone when you call. All this is to say, I wouldn't recommend Dr. Talac as he doesn't seem to be doing this for the right reasons.

Not only The best orthopedic doctor but he really takes the time to make you feel like you are part of the family and he will go out of his way to take care of his clients! Truly exceed my expectations! Incredible professionalism from him and his stuff!

Dr Talac has performed 2 back surgeries on me and is now currently working on healing the little disc that’s there and with a procedure that’s no surgical . He is amazing and staff is the best! I would give hiM a 10 out of 10

I have had a few procedures done with Dr. Talac. He is so nice and makes you feel comfortable. I would have had a scar on my neck, but because he is so good he made it where no one can see it. And its in plain sight! Very good Dr.! Staff is also very professional and nice.

Dr. Talac and his staff were very friendly and professional. They took the time to explain everything in terms that I could understand.

This is a doctor who will listen, who truly cares about his patients, takes time to explain everything in detail in which the patient understands and has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered! The staff is very helpful and caring. I will soon get an operation and I trust Dr. Talac wholeheartedly.
