Dr. Robert J Thompson, MD

I went to see him (as a referral) for insomnia. He basically told me to get over it . He said I needed to learn how to reprogram my body's sleep cycle but no doctor could or would help me. I asked him if he could at least refill my prescriptions until I found another doctor since stopping them suddenly could cause me to have seizures and he said no (the scripts were for non addictive drugs) and that if I had a seizure it wouldn't last long. He had no desire to help me and he had no interest in finding me someone who would. My husband is a doctor and I would be horrified if he treated his patients the way I was treated today.

Would never recommend dr Thompson to anyone .

This man was hired by a defense attorney to give expert witness testimony against me in a personal injury trial. He was hired 7 weeks before trial to give an independent medical opinion and lied for the money. This man does this for a living and works for the Ohio department of workers compensation and social security administration. He gave his opinion without ever seeing me or requesting medical records from my attorney because he was already paid and provided his opinion. This man needs to be stopped and held accountable for what he does and I will make that happen.

I was sent to him because of a kidney/bladder problem. He did a neuro scan and diagnosed me with MS (multiple scelerosis). When I asked him if he had to do a spinal tap too to confirm he said no, he was checking with my insurance to make sure they covered the interferon injections I had to take. I decided to go to another city and found out I did not have MS and definitely did not need interferon injections!
