Dr. Robert Timothy Thurman, MD

I believe this is the Dr. Thurman that did a rotated flap surgery on my scalp along with a Dr. Pelton when they worked together to remove a Merkel Cell cancer from my forehead hair line. He did a great job in my point of view. A short time later he did a breast reduction on my wife. This took place in early 1993. If he recalls this surgery I would enjoy hearing from him.

I went to Dr. Thurman for a routine carpel tunnel surgery. As the anesthetic wore off, my 2 middle fingers were numb. I contacted Dr. Thurman the same evening of the surgery and expressed my concerns. He did have me come in and said this condition was temporary and all would be well. Several weeks later, I went back again with the same condition and was told exactly the same thing. After years - the feeling has never come back and I still have 2 numb fingers. Dr. Thurman NEVER admitted to any mistake on his part nor took responsibility for what happened to my hand. I would have been much more kind and understanding if he had just been honest and told me this condition, which did not exist prior to the surgery, was the result of an error on his part. This is the only conclusion that I can draw from Dr. Thurman's lack of willingness to explain my condition.

HEs wonderful. trusted him felt he was the best DOCTor for my hand .and I was right.

Office staff lack of knowledge and being evasive for billing with insurances medicare and tricare.

Excellent work on my wife's hand, very courteous and good manner. Excellent had surgeon.

Dr. Thurman was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the tear and other complications in my wrist when other doctors I saw could not. He spent a lot of time with me and treated me like a family member. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a hand/wrist surgeon.

As I started as a patient of Dr. Thurmanâ??s he seemed very nice and very caring. I had a work comp injury claim and had the surgery. The surgery did not fix the problem and I need further help. That is when Dr. Thurman turned very mean as did his staff, he refused to speak with me or help me. LONG STORY SHORT IS BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DR. WORKING ON YOU THROUGH WORKERS COMP AS HE IS FOR THE WORK COMP INSURANCE COMPANYS SIDE AND NOT THE PATIENT! His ego is badly hurt if the surgery does not 100% heal the original injury and if you ask for additional help he will on the spot send you to one of work comps â??make sure to ruin your claim doctorsâ?? who will lie and deny you instantly as they are in work comps pocket even more than Dr. Thurman is. THE BOTTOM LINE IS ROBERT T THURMAN, MD, PC IS WORKING FOR THE WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE COMPANYS AND NOT YOU THE PATIENT! My advice is, if you are made to see him by work comp get an attorney from the start and take him to your… appointments. You should also take a voice recorder and record every visit as his story will change in his written reports to his masters at work comp (ALL LIES) or you will end up like I did, still broken, in pain, unable to find a job I can do and make the same money as before because of my injury, and the worst part is I need further help and canâ??t get it because without a doubt DR. ROBERT T THURMAN IS ON THE SIDE OF ALL WORK COMP INSURANCE COMPANYS FIRST AND THE PATIENT LAST. Apparently his oath is â??Hippocratic oath who cares!â?? He is now just like a work comp IME Dr. and the title he deserves is "WORKERS COMP blank DR.!!!"
