Dr. Robert Edward Todd, MD

I have had symptoms for 40+ years. ( The vision issues were called migraines back then and my aches and pains became fibromylagia.) I was referred to Dr. Todd. Dr. Todd did numerous tests and within a short time he said I had relapsing/remitting MS. The diagnosis wasn't welcomed but it was nice to know what I was dealing with and it made sense. I had classic brain lesions and other symptoms. After more tests, I asked if it was okay to order a medical alert bracelet. He said yes and to put MS on it. Well, he now says I don't have R/R MS and I have organisms replicating in my brain - something he never explained to me. He roared at me: "Don't you know you have a serious illness?" Apparently it's besides the point that he had told me that on a scale of 1-10, my MS was a 1. I have paperwork stating that I have MS signed by him...though he says I don't have it now. I liked him at first but have learned the hard way that one doesn't question the king, the almighty, probably God… Himself on anything. He's sarcastic and can be very rude. If you want to see him, don't have questions and hide any evidence of medical experience or overall intelligence. I've had over 20 surgeries, 9 broken bones, some interesting illnesses and overall experiences. I'm not a doctor but I'm a practiced patient with good common sense. I think that irritated him to no end and I think one of his goals was to put me in my place. (I didn't have the heart to tell him that better people than he had tried to no avail.) His staff tattles to Dr. Todd's wife and/or the doctor - incredible immaturity. The office in very hard to contact, especially in the afternoon; they turn their phones off and let the answering/after hours service take the calls. His wife/office manager can take offense to a smile; she is one very unhappy person and makes sure the doctor hears about ANYTHING you do. If he doesn't like what he hears, you get "fired" as a patient. I got my pink slip yesterday. Dr. Todd is a right fighter and if he doesn't get his way, he takes his "ball (so to speak) and goes home/boots your butt out of his practice. At my last appointment he was like a dog on a bone with 2 questions and wouldn't let me talk about anything else. I felt like I was being questioned by detectives who were trying to wear me down and confess. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go to this office.

Took time to get appointment but well worth the wait. Caring, compassionate and easy to talk to. Made diagnosis when others were stumped. I am much better thanks to Dr Todd.

First and foremost, Dr. Todd is semi retired and keeps his practice running under the condition that he sees you once (and only once) and the remainder of your follow up visits you are seen by his NURSE Kelly Stewart; who has less than reputable, irreverent even, bedside manor. Her inferior knowledge of pharmacokinetics is expected of someone who did not attend medical school, however, she is attempting to make diagnosis calls that are beyond her professional degree. I visited this office as a secret shopper, as I am a retired Doctor myself, several times trying to get a better perspective thinking they were having an off day; however, that was unfortunately not the case. The front office staff, with the exception of Gina, have a great deal to learn in regard to professionalism and affability towards patients. An overall bad experience, and the worst office I have visited yet. Which is unfortunate because I had very high hopes for this office.

i feel they care more about getting paid than about their patient. They do not follow up with advising primary care about findings when patient is referred to them. Also, you never get to see Dr. Todd you only get to see the Nurse Practiioner.

I feel that I could have been treated a bit better, almost feel like a number and not a patient. Never received a follow-up, left a message with no return call & still in pain. It is sad because I really enjoyed my visit with the Dr. Todd, just feel that they are larger then they can handle and not enough follow-up to patients who may have or be experiencing very serious issues with no direction.

Dr.Todd misdiagnosed , mis -medicated me me. I have long term ndamage, from inappropriate medication and treatment. I suffer greatly. He the ignored my request for help for months while I suffered, after this happened. He Then fired me telling me that " I would never find another doctor in this area." After over a year of trying to find a doctor - I have been fired everywhere I have gone. I continue to suffer beyond belief. I have no doctor , just like he warned me. Todd doesn't care about patients. His wife is the office manager and she came out and told me " doctors need lawyers in the exam room, they don't even want to be doctors anymore, I should feel sorry for them." You know what I do feel sorry for them, they in my opinion are poor humans.

Started out good... testing to find illness, diagnosed. Some treatment that helped. Some treatment didn't. I felt that my treatment changed after losing my primary care dr. That's what they were most concerned about... not me. Office manager is demanding. After trying to get follow appt for my illness, and ignored, I then found out from my pharmacist that i need appt. VERY Strange. I was allowed to make appt. I was told after some talk about my progressive symptoms, that dr. couldn't offer anything more... try somewhere else, gyn for accupuncture. He is not gonna help. Dr. ignores pain of disease. Dr. Never followed up on other possible neurologic issues he said i had that were bad. There are other treatments for me and my disease and all he kept mentioning was he doesn't have magic. I never asked for magic just reasonable treatment so i don't suffer like i do. Forget compassion here, HE is the Captain of the ship. enough said.CAPTAIN. BOSS. I am… disappointed. I continue to suffer, when i don't have too. I did at one time recommend dr . todd.... but after my last few months in my journey I Would Not Recommend. If your neurologic disease is painful.... forget about it .... Thanks for letting my suffering continue... not at all.

I really don't understand a doctor who doesn't treat pain symptoms. My friend goes to see the doctor and he tells her there isn't anything that he can do with her MS symptoms. Well, aren't doctors suppose to help patients with pain issues. He knows that you're sick and have severe pain. But he can't do anything more to help you. Something is wrong with that.

I usually do not spend my time writing reviews about my doctor. However, I felt this to be absolutely necessary to make sure people were aware about his office and his treatment to his patients. First, I want to point out that the office manager is the worst person I ever had to deal with at a doctor's office! I was suffering from vertigo and severe headaches for several years now on and off. I was referred by my ENT to see Dr. Todd. The office manager/spouse was very rude, demeaning and refused to help me. Dr. Todd had ordered an MRI and due to my condition, I wanted to have the MRI done closer to my residence instead of driving farther away. She told me to do it myself and stated she has helped me enough. I thought this was their job, to maybe take care of his patients! When MDR stated they needed the doctor's office to call, I called back and spoke with Gina, which was very nice and helped me out. She scheduled an appointment to a closer facility. I had to follow up a few times… to verify the status of my tests, etc. I was told that I was harassing the office by calling. REALLY?! In the end, the office manager had me banned from the office, she had told Dr. Todd I harassed and was diagnosing myself... ???? I received a letter from Dr. Todd stating I was no longer allowed at this practice. How about you ask the patient you are banning what happened... Now, Dr. Todd was very pleasant at my first appointment, seemed to want to help me and find out what was wrong. He ordered many tests and in the end did find what was causing my issue, Which no other provider could do. However, he billed for charges that never occurred, which I feel is fraud. He also billed a few office visits where I did not even see him nor had treatment. So, before receiving my "banned" letter, I had already made the decision I was not going back! I am a very nice, patient and kind person. For me to be banned is unreal, just because I wanted to follow up and find out what was happening. When I was having my attack and could not walk or even go to the bathroom by myself, he would not even give me any medications or help me. He told me to call him when my attack was over.... I am a strong advocate for myself due to many failed attempts for doctors to help me. PLEASE do NOT go to this provider! He did find my issue, which I was very grateful for. However, he needs to get rid of the office manager who can ruin his whole reputation. 1 person can make a difference on a business. She was a complete nightmare every time I went there.

I definitely recommend Dr. Todd. I agree that his office staff is over-extended and they should have more people on staff to handle office duties separate from nursing duties. I would have fired that woman at the front desk years ago for being incompetent. She's very nice, but nice doesn't get the job done. But, Dr. Todd is hands down a fantastic doctor who is willing to work with you and genuinely cares about you. As with anything in life, you have to be your own advocate, so learn to follow up for yourself. Don't complain about no one calling you back when you've seen it's a busy office. I say this because I don't want someone not choosing him and missing out on a great doctor. He literally changed my life for the better by diagnosing me after YEARS of countless visits to doctors who did nothing for me.
