Dr. Robert Matthew Tognacci

Dr. Robert Tognacci is one of the best doctors, who care a lot about the patients and diagnose the illness very accurately. We have all our regards for him.

My husband went to this doctor on his own for several years and was always told he was "fine." I noticed the doctor never seemed to inquire as to what might be needed...flu shot...pneumonia shot (for seniors), colonoscopy, or other standard tests or treatments that my doctor asked me about. Dr. T. is pleasant and his saying hello, how are you? and goodbye, seemed to be considered an annual physical, although he did order the common blood work. Then my husband (a pilot with a civil engineering and business admin degree, and an outstanding photographer who won awards and judged and taught photography, among other things, became so forgetful that he couldn't balance a checkbook or find his way home from a church we'd gone to for 20 years. I needed a referral for a neurologist, so took him to Dr. T. Because I didn't want to tell the doctor about my husband's deficits in front of him, I wrote a detailed letter and dropped it off at the doctor's office before the appointment describing my… husband's memory loss and why he needed a neurologist. The doctor's staff said he read my letter before our arrival. In the examination, he did the usual hello, how are you?, checked his vitals and said to go wait in the waiting room. A few minutes later, his medical assistant came to me in the waiting room and said, "The doctor said your husband's memory is fine," and they offered no referral to a neurologist. So I found a new doctor, and he saw my husband and made the referral to a neuro who diagnosed him with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. No one needed to be a rocket scientist to diagnose him. There is a very simple test of a few questions that identify the diseased areas of the brain. He was not asked those questions. I also had complaints about the medical assistant, but next time we returned (to get results of blood work) she was no longer there. I'd read other issues with her in online reviews. I would never refer anyone to this practice. There are too many good ones out there.

I've been going to Dr T for 10 years. Very nice guy and very personable. That being said, it is virtually impossible to see him when you are actually sick. Seeing a nurse or PA is not the same as seeing a doctor. The reason why I'm writing a review today is because of my recent experience. I made an appointment to see the doctor 2 weeks in advance. The day of my appointment I received a call from the office stating that they had to cancel my appointment due to an emergency. She told me the next available appointment was 3+ weeks from now. After expressing my dissatisfaction, she said she had an opening for the next morning, but I could not change plans and asked for anytime after tomorrow. I was told they had no openings. Not knowing weather the doctor is aware of how the scheduling is done, I asked if she could directly talk to the doctor and state my case. I never heard back. I don't need a doctor for an annual check-up, taking vitals and prescribing blood tests. That's the time I… don't mind seeing a nurse or PA. I need to see the doctor when I'm sick, and unfortunately I can't. It's a shame, I like Dr T but it doesn't make any sense keep him as my primary.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Tognacci for a long time. He used to be very kind and patient, but as his practice keeps growing, his personality has been changing as well. He tells you at the end of a visit that he is going to check for something at the end and he doesn't come back, he sends his nurse to finish up the consult. So, you don't have time to ask last minute questions. The staff changes every time you go, and I have nothing nice to say about them, they are very rude, impersonable, and when clients walk away they start talking about them. Very unprofessional! I miss the small doctor's office environment.

Most caring Dr. I've ever been to. Doesn't make you feel like he's rushed. Listens and is very attentive. I will never see another Doc besides him in my life. Super smart!!!!!!! Kiki at the front desk is so very personable and professional. Looks like she loves her job.

Great caring doc,very personable. Very good nurse, very good on follow-up.. Improving front office staff, still a ways to go but at least improving.

Receptionist very rude. When it comes to billing make side it is correct...they like to add on anything they can think of.

I had to walk in to make my new patient appointment since I was unable to do so over the phone.I gave up after my 5th, yes 5th attempt over 3 days to speak with a real person. All calls go to a voice mail, which is very annoying. The Nurse Practitioner I saw was awesome, I give her 5 stars. The front office girls are sour pusses, very unpersonable.They don't even crack a smile.

Dr T is a top notch doctor. He takes time to explain your condition and answer your questions. My family all goes to him and I would highly recommend him to anybody seeking a doctor that truly cares about his patients and not making a quick buck.

I've been going to Dr. T for the past 5 years. He is caring, doesn't rush you out the office, and takes the time to answer all questions you may have. My children of various ages are comfortable seeing him.
