Dr. Robert Dana Tomalty, MD

My mother has stage IV breast cancer and needed her port removed and a picc line placed. He was very rude and uncaring. Did not wait for the sedation to go into effect and removed the port with my mother awake and feeling the removal. My mother told him he was hurting her and he continued and then said it's out now. He never came to recovery and told me how she was or anything. Rudest dr we've come in contact with. No bedside manner whatsoever. It's bad enough she's coping with cancer and then to deal with this on top of everything else.

Dr. Tomalty performed a four vessels arteriogram on my wife. He was great in explaining the procedure and after his recommendations. We are very fortunate to have his talent . He is the only Dr. in Huntsville that performs these types of procedures.The entire staff at Huntsville Hospital were outstanding!

I don't know who the other person saw that wrote the other review on this site, but my experience with this doctor was the worst medical experience I have ever had. He was rude and harsh and treated me like I was not worth his time. I am facing possible brain cancer and he did not spend 2 minutes with me. He was very rough with the procedure I had to have done and never explained what was happening. If I have to have any follow-up procedures, I will certainly find another doctor.

Extremely courteous and caring. Excellent bedside manner. Well liked and respected by all hospital staff.
