I agree with the review from 2017. He looked at my son’s chart and said just do therapy. has no bedside manner or ideas on new treatments for seizures but or motor issues. his notes were full of mistakes. we’re going to a northwell doc and getting another opinion in boston.

Amazing doctor and person - I can't say enough positive things about our experience with him. I came in as a nervous mother with a million questions and he took his time answering my questions and putting us at ease. My daughter was especially active that day and it didn't bother him at all! He is intelligent, knowledgable, kind and caring! On top of it, his office staff is amazing!

Dr. Trepel is lazy and just goes through the motions. Doesn't want to take time to explain anything or go through test results. Ordered a 24-hr EEG for my child & said he had "several" seizure incidents during that time but could not tell me exactly how many "several" was. Could not even give me a ballpark figure. I asked if "several" meant 3? 10? 100? 1000? Dr. Trepel had no idea. He clearly did not want to spend his time actually helping his pediatric patient by looking at this lengthy test. So why did we even have the test if he's not going to even look at it? He did not dispute me when I told him he was not doing his job. Just shrugged. We are moving on to a doctor who cares. Trepel is utterly worthless and should retire before he hurts someone through his lazy negligence.
