Dr. Robert Trimmer, MD

He makes up stuff about medicine on the spot and then when asked about it later, he will change his opinion because there is no evidence to his claims. Agree with other post, he over medicates and doesn't acknowledge side affects and starts acting surprised when they occur. He often violates privacy protections and lies to his office in order to protect himself from any malpractice.

Please BE WARNED about this doctor. I was a patient years ago & due to his over medication (not just one, but several & in dangerously high dosages) I was involved in a near-fatal car accident. He's also lost malpractice suit(s) against him. Maybe he's learned his lesson, I don't know? I would advise any, and all patients, to double check all medications, as well as dosages, before taking them. If you're not happy, get a 2nd opinion. EVERYONE deserves a knowledgeable, caring doctor! Too many doctors (I know I'm a health care professional) still cater to Big Pharma & receive sizable kick backs & other incentives.

If you need to find a psychiatrist or switch to a new one, give Dr Trimmer an opportunity to work with you as part of your team, especially if ALL of your experiences with a psychiatrist have been horrendous. Dr Trimmer restored my faith in the psychiatric profession. As one who suffers from bipolar disorder, Dr Trimmer is hands down the best psych MD I have had..no close seconds.

I saw Dr. Trimmer during an extremely painful and stressful time in my life. He was kind and supportive. He took great care with my medications and listened to my concerns, and adjusted accordingly. I felt respected, honored, and supported.

Dr. Trimmer is an amazing Dr. His dedication in treating his patients and his care and concern and the compassion he exudes during his appointments is rare to find in Dr's today. I feel very lucky to call Dr. Trimmer my Dr. and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for help in the field in which he practices in. You will not be disappointed!

Front desk can use some work and like most mental health care facilities rules are a little over done and inconsistent depending on who is behind the desk. The doctor himself is great. I have seen many and this one is a keeper.

So easy to talk to. Makes you immediately feel at ease.

Dr. Trimmer has a calm and kind presence. He listens to my concerns and is very attentive to my needs. I am blessed to have him treat me and be my Doctor.

He is concerned about your well being, follows up, and takes the time to sit with you - he is not a prescribe and then sends you on your way. He will talk to you and spend the time you need. You won't feel rushed at all.
