Wonderful people and very kind and friendly.

I'm using the same "boilerplate" reply here as I am on other ratings/reviews sites, because it pretty much says it all: I had a "Double Cabbage", & have been out of the hospital (in 6 days) & back home, walking almost a mile(±) a day, less than 4 weeks after surgery. Lungs have cleared (yes, I've STILL quit smoking & have had very few "cravings") & pain is almost manageable with OTC meds... maybe a week more on prescription painkillers, then it's just the regular "heart pills", etc. I want to say thanks again to Dr. Turnage, David Levitan, ALL the OR staff, nurses, techs, EMTs, kitchen crew, housekeeping & anyone I'm forgetting @ West Florida Hospital. I plan on putting the remaining years(?) I have left to good use & maaaannnn, do this year's blueberries off the bush taste sweeter than ever~! MUCH LOVE, and Thank You So Much. RWE

Dr. Turnage saved my life, he and his team of professionals, Ms.Lynn, Dr. David and all his staff are the best at what they do, Saving lives everyday! God bless them.

Jan 17, 2018 was my 2nd anniversary of joining the "Zipper Club" I needed my Aortic Valve replaced. Dr. Turnage took plenty of time to explain the procedure, my choices on the type of valve to use, and what I could expect for recovery both in and out of the hospital. He was great at answering questions, making both my wife and myself comfortable with him and the procedure, and made us feel like we were his only patient. My only complaint has been that he did such a good job of sewing me up that my zipper (scar) has almost completely disappeared. Hard to get the attention and sympathy I want when you can't prove it happened! Thanks Dr Turnage!

His diagnosis and recommended surgery was spot on. His manner was flawless and followup remarkable. My falimly was in the loop from start to finish
