Dr. Robert Ernest Turner, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Turner for several years. He is always willing to listen and never along wait time. He spends time with his patients.

I visited Dr. Turner early this year. I told him I was having intestinal pain and wondered if it might be my gallbladder. He showed me a report where I had an ultrasound done earlier because this wasn’t the first attack like this that I had. He indicated the report show no problem. Then I wondered well what kind problem am I having then. He stood up started for the door and told me on the way out,”He didn’t think I had Gallbladder problems”. He then moved on to his next patience and never gave me an answer as to what I should do. 12 days later I went from a simple pain to major pain. I checked in at the emergency room at St.Marys Medical Center, and they found the problem. The Gallbladder . Next day the surgeon removed the bladder and told me later that it was very infected. Needless to say Doctor Turner is no longer my primary health care provider. I don’t know what kind of medical knowledge he has, could be the best around. But his people skills are very poor. What kind of… doctor refuses to listen to their patience? A poor one.

To the point and accurate. Doctor turner has a very no nonsense approach. I love his sense of humor!

Dr. Turner is very down to earth. He always spends a good amount of time with me. His staff is very courteous and helpful.

He is not good at listening. He will literally open the door and motion for u to leave while you are in tge middle of talking. He talks down to you and tries to make you feel bad about yourself. He does not care abput anything you say or how you feel about anything. He is very big headed and isn't open to listening to anything you have to say because he thinks he knows it all and will continuously tell you that he is the doctor and you are the patient. I went in to many appointments in a very good mood and came out crying because of how he treated me or what he had said. But on the other hand his staff is great! His nurse is very nice and professional and his secretary was very polite. They would always calm me down. Honestly I feel sorry for them, having to deal with him as much as they do!!!
