Dr. Robert William Tuttle, MD

My knee surgery with Dr Tuttle ruined my life. I’ve had years of issues with my knee, nerve damage caused excruciating pain down one side of my leg, and walking with one leg longer than the other from the knee replacement, has caused my hip to be so painful that the referred pain has caused sciatica in the other leg.

Regret having my hip replaced. In almost constant pain and unable to move my leg in ways I used to before the surgery. Clearly something went wrong with the surgery.

After hobbling around on a painful groin for over a year, I was finally convinced to see an orthopedic physician, and my "primary" clinic suggested Dr. Tuttle at Sports & Orthopedics in Minneapolis. Excellent advice. From the first office visit with Dr. Tuttle and his team, I knew I was in good and competent care, and their having x-rays and an MRI in -hand, their suggestion for expedited surgery was excellent advice, and the total hip replacement procedure went extremely well. Dr. Tuttle and members of his team explained procedures at every step, they partner with an excellent anesthesiology team, and I have a new implant in place of a quite diseased old hip socket. Post-op hospital care was fantastic, Dr. Tuttle visited to explain surgery results and then the rest has been up to me. Excellent PT and OT through his facility sent me on my way to recovering normally and walking in a much more comfortable and stable gait and no more pain. Post-op follow-up office visits have… maintained confidence in Dr. Tuttle, as he remembers everything about your file by the time he sees you in the exam room. He's an excellent ortho specialist, and a nice person - I won the lottery by getting referred to Robert Tuttle and owe many thanks to his care.

Couldn't be happier with the experience my husband had getting his hip replaced. Minimal recovery time. Great experience with Abbott Hospital and Dr. Tuttle. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Tuttle was very informative and took the time to explain everything to me. His bedside manner was excellent. He spent a lot of time with me. I would highly recommend him.
