Dr. Robert Gordon Tymoczko, MD

Recently Dr Tymoczko sold out to Allegeny Health! Sold out is to say the least! Doctor T had a long successful practice and like other private practices, he got tired of the hassles of dealing with insurance carriers and the cost of running his own business. Now he is with AHN it’s obvious he is just a employee and lost his zeal as before! The change has affected his office staff from reception to medical support. Asking for help getting anything outside a usual prescription is seen as big deal and you feel bad after hearing the voice on the other end of a visit or phone request!The receptionist is a big “Pie Face “ and surely not someone you feel welcomed when you check in! So many negatives compared to the private practice we enjoyed! The good doctor has his run at it and should retire and avoid his stellar reputation!

I was in the hospital and ended up with Dr. Tymoczko because he was the doctor on duty. He was extremely rude to my family and I and was just very uncaring.

The staff and doctor are excellent always caring and very accommodating to our busy schedule I have been with them 25years now my grown children go to them

He is just the worse! He calls in scripts without ever seeing the patient and just from hearing their complaints. He prescribed my friend an inhaler when she complained of shortness of breath and now she is in stage 4 lung cancer. This could have been caught with a simple CT Scan as soon as it started happening, now it's too late! Do not trust this man with your life!

His receptionists are rude and most if his staff with the exception of one nurse are not very friendly and have never been friendly to myself or my husband. My husband was misdiagnosed with a serious and fatal disease. He didn't run any test when told about the complaints and just said " you'll grow out of it". Well he didn't grow out of it and it ended up being Emphysema. I am extremely upset because 2 years prior when he was told about the complaints this could've been found out and treated. I would not recommend him to anyone who is looking for anything more than a basic physical, and even then is be Leary of him. Sorry doc only speaking about our experiences with you.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He suggested my mother move into assisted living, but every attempt I made to obtain necessary medical information from him to assist with the process was met with a brick wall.
