The doctor is excellent. He sits down and explains everything about your condition to, along with his treatment plan recommendations. He is very careful about prescribing pain medications and he explains why he doesn’t prescribe them for your condition very throughly so that you understand. He doesn’t expect you to suffer in pain as he does have a treatment plan which includes pain relief steroids injections which he sets up for the following week. He has you follow up 2 weeks after injections to determine in further injections are needed so they can be scheduled ASAP. His staff is great very friendly and professional. I have been treating for 15 years for my neck and whole back injury for which I have had surgery. I have seen 4 different Pain Management Doctors since 2005 and just 1 before 2005 but they mainly just gave me medicine and they tended to get stronger and stronger over time but really didn’t help that much. I am so happy to have found and now treating with Dr Sickler… because he is the first pain management doctor that has really taken the time to really take an interest in me getting better. Yes I am in constant pain but even with the pain medication I was always in constant pain too. Dr. Sickler is working closely with my Psychiatrist and Neurologist and Orthopedic Surgeon as part of my treatment. He is an excellent doctor who I would highly recommend. I have worked many years in the insurance industry in which I had to work very closely with doctors and nurses and injured people and it has made me real familiar with doctors and their treatment protocol.
