Dr. Robert Leonard Wade JR., MD

He is arrogant, incompetent and lazy. I am a doctor married to a doctor. I was having symptoms or heart disease, abnormal ekg, strong family history and significant medical risk factors. He misread my stress echo. Said my symptoms were not cardiac, never read my chart or listened to my complaints. 3 days later I was in Indiana driving my kid to college I had a massive heart attack which required 2 emergency stents and a stay in an out of state ICU! My Right coronary artery was 100% blocked, my Left anterior descending (widow maker) was 90% blocked and my left coronary artery was 50% blocked. Never did he apologize for missing it. My Mission issue refused to pay my out of state bill. I had to get legal assistance. Don’t walk away from this doctor Run! Not to mention he is rude and arrogant even to his own colleagues.

Dr. Wade does a thorough job of diagnosing cardiac problems. He explains things well; has a pleasant bedside manner; follows up on tests and treatments; is accessible. His nurse, Thomas, is also quite conscientious about returning calls, etc.

I found him to be professional and the visit worthwhile. He has a great laugh, listens and does not "lord" over you as a patient. 5 out of 5.

Dr. Wade was extremely thorough and attentive to my concerns. He did not not rush through my appointment, diagnosed what tests needed to be performed, and was very reassuring as to my prognosis.
