Unfortunately not enough characters to leave my full review. I had an appointment for a vasectomy consultation scheduled for months. When I showed up, his office staff was extremely rude. Turns out, even though I was a patient, they didn't submit the claim for approval. Told me it was their job to call the insurance and submit a claim. Dr. Waguespack has a great reputation for being a good surgeon, but his office staff is a complete mess. When I confronted his office staff about the insurance authorization and said I would pay cash, he stepped out of his office and said he wouldn't see me. He's just another doctor with a rude office staff who promotes that type of culture in the medical field. Time to retire.

Dr. Waguespack is one of the most disrespectful, arrogant, and condescending people I have ever had .

I had lost a prescription and left a message with the front office. Two hours later Dr. Waguespack personally called me back to see which perscrption I lost so he could reissue. I have had several serious problems that Dr has always handled professionally and with the utmost skill. I have been a patient for ten years.

Worst urologist I have ever seen!!!!

Been to City of Hope, Been to UCLA Men’s health, But found the most Amazing Doctor in Bakersfield. Dr waguespack and Staff have been so helpful when others listed above could not help. Thank you Dr Waguespack and your Amazing staff.

I had no problem with the staff. However, Dr. Waguespack is one of the most disrespectful, arrogant, and condescending people I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with. At the end of our confusing, surrealistic meeting I let him know, I do not, nor ever will, need his advice. I have never had such a disjointed and irritating encounter with a doctor. Unless you have a high tolerance for arrogant, quirky, and abusive behavior I suggest you search for another urologist.

This doctor would not acknowledge the seriousness of the complications I experienced as a result of the 2 polypropylene mesh slings he implanted in me. I had to go to UCLA for removal and an additional 3 reconstruction surgeries. I do not blame him for the complications, but his denial of the problem and uncaring attitude was unprofessional and inexcusable.

Took the time to explain things and answer questions. Very calming demeanor. Great bedside manner!
