Dr. Robert Seth Wallach, DO

Compares himself to me. Pretty much says my 20 years of back pain is irrelevant because he doesn't know if I'm in pain, nor does he ask. He is rude interrupt when I'm speaking and hasn't given a fair diagnosis or effort to do so I wouldn't recommend anyone go to be treated so poorly.

Although it took awhile to make an initial appointment, the wait to see Dr. Wallach was worth it. He is a very personable, easy to talk to clinician. He listened to my concerns over my continuing lower back problems and developed a treatment plan based on a thorough examination and medical tests. I was very impressed with the the methodical way he evaluated my condition and subsequent treatment plan. I have had only positive experiences with NM Orthopaedics and highly recommend this practice and Dr. Wallach!

I went to Wallach for a nerve study under the impression that he was a neurologist, but discovered from his staff that was not. But since I had such an upsetting experience with his colleague, I was told I could ask him to take over my care. Upon asking, he seemed alarmed, and when I explained my experience with his colleague, he stated in a condescending tone, "Well, I've known him for years, but you can say whatever you want about him." Although I had known him all of 5 minutes, he kept pushing me toward surgery and steroid injections for a life-long condition that has never been operable. The injections would have just been a very painful, very temporary fix. When I asked him if he was a surgeon he said no. I've had nerve studies before, but he only took five minutes to tell me there was nothing wrong with me. Then while in a vulnerable state, he felt it necessary to make comments about my weight. Robert Wallach is completely unprofessional, and I would not recommend him to even… scoop ice cream.
