Dr. Robert Sherwood Williams, MD

I have seen dr williams for almost 2 years now, he is a great dr.

I have been seeing Dr Williams for over 2 years, and he is a great Dr. I have sciatic nerve damage and I go for steroid shots every 3 months. He is always kind. I read in one of the comments that he didn't do pain, but he does. My husband went in there with a fractured arm, and he gave him a pain shot and told him what to do to ease the pain. If I feel I ever need pain meds, I can ask him to refer me to a pain specialist and I have no doubt he would. I never have to wait more then 10 min in his office but normally it's right in.

wife was bit by a fire ant face swelled up took her to doctor Williams right in no waiting. gave her some meds face started going down with in the hour. price to see him about $50.00 if I had gone to the ER would of cost about $2,500.

He and his staff are excellent. I recommend him highly.

Apparently Dr. Williams doesn't treat anxiety or depression, and instead refers patients out to psych. That is completely normal and fine. However, when psych puts a patient on medication, and Dr. Williams decides he doesn't agree with those medications, he'll just tell them not to take them, without offering any alternative. I'm pretty sure PCPs and Specialists should work in cooperation with each other. Williams has control issues. He spent more time arguing and discrediting psych's plan of care than he did addressing the problem. Will be transferring care elsewhere ASAP.

Dr. Williams is the most thorough doctor I have ever used. You may have to wait for awhile in the waiting room, but this is due to the fact that he doesn't rush through patients. I was in very bad shape when I started going to see Dr. Willams and now my health has improved so much. I am truly very happy.
