Dr. Robert Jeremy Wilmoth, MD

Dr. Wilmoth took great care of my husband, he is a wonderful surgeon and a very caring person.

Dr Wilmoth did surgery on me in 2007 to remove my gallbladder after I had spent a night at UT hospital and baptist hospital in Knoxville TN. Both hospitals did scans of my gallbladder but said the scans were fine. I returned to Tazewell to have a test done to see if I had stomach ulcers which could be causing my pain. The Dr in Knoxville said it was a simple 1 day outpatient test where I would be put to sleep and only took 20 min. Dr Wilmoth did the procedure and came in recovery and said the procedure showed nothing wrong. He then asked to check my gallbladder. I insisted it had just been checked but he said he wanted to do a different type scan, one to check function. That it could be done while I was waiting in recovery. So I agreed. 10 min later the nurse came in with my results and said it showed function of only 7 percent. I had no gallstones but sludge which was causing my pain. He scheduled to remove it and my problem was gone. So grateful to him for revisiting the possibility… that the other two hospitals/doctors had missed something . The thing I admire most about him is his compassion to his patients and the genuine caring he seems to have no matter how many patients he sees on a daily basis!! Awesome doctor!!

Dr. Wilmoth performed laparoscopic colon cancer surgery on a member of my family and we couldn't be happier. Surgery went great and home in just a couple days. Knowledgeable and courteous, very up to date. Oncologist was very complimentary of him as well.

Came in after hours and fixed my 4 year old son's cut on his face. Calm demeanor helped reassure us both. Can no longer see a scar!!!

Dr.Wilmoth has done several procedures on me and my family. He is very well versed in his field. I wanted to comment on a review from a previous pt that wrote he was a 9 to 5 Dr. I think people need to understand that he does have a family also. So, maybe the patient should be complaining about the care from the local ER departments.

Dr. Wilmoth is an extraordinary physician and individual. His care before, during, and following my procedure was exemplary. I can't express how thankful I am for his service, and his kindness.

I liked the promptness in getting an appointment. I did have thyroid cancer and he took special care...he is very courteous and respectful and his bedside manner is impeccable. I would recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to call him with any problem in the future.

Dr. Wilmoth was my surgeon and he is wonderful. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
