Dr. Robert Windsor, MD

I was a Patient of Dr Windsor close to 20 years ago. He did all sorts of treatments to help with my back and neck pain. Also prescribed me nearly 13 RX Pain Meds Told me to only get them filled at the Pharmacy he recommended, which was where his practice was. Nothing was working, & when my W/C INS was ending he contacted a Drug Rehab Hospital to get me off of the Drugs. When I was at the Rehab Hospital, I spoke to several of his patients, who went through the same situation & experiences that I had. Something wasn't right, so I contacted an Attorney with my questions. He charged me a ridiculously high fee, & did Nothing. When I recently found out that Windsor was in Prison, I knew my suspicions were correct! He is a DISGUSTING Pig & a DISGRACE to the Physician & Medical Community. It's Unbelievable & mind blowing, that I Knew of his Thievery & Deceit, but couldn't find anyone to help me put this SCUMBAG in PRISON. The Pharmacist and Drug Rehab Hospital should've been charged as… well.

I found dr. Windsor to be very approachable, caring, and carpeted. I would highly recommend his services.

Dr. Windsor's knowledge and experience is superior to most I have dealt with. After 30 years dealing with Navy and VA doctors it is refreshing to have a doc that is an athlete as well as experienced with sports related injuries and long term pain management. Dr. Windsor continues in touch checking in with me to make sure I am improving or at least stable. It has been a couple years since we had significant face time but his continued attention remains. Rare sincerity.

A lot of the staff had no clue the office was closing. A lot didn't get there last payroll check. Give doctor Shelton a chance as he is a great doctor. He had to follow ga pain physicians policy even tho he did not agree. Try doctor Shelton one time you won't regret it. He's nothing like Dr Windsor. Dr Shelton 5stars!!!!!!

Got in and our quickly, and back to being active vs. sitting on couch in a coma!

hi, i must tell someone of the worst office visit of my life. After a 2 hour wait which has happens to me every visit.. I was involved in the rudest Doctor or nurse experience ever. she was rude to me in a previous visit..But i let that go..She greeted me, and then said , "there is really nothing we can do for you because your being non compliant." I now know what that means. But the rudeness and arrogance of this young lady. after about 3 sentences the visit was over. I complained and her tone was more defensive.. she said i was yelling which i wasnt.. she never asked me about my pain. How bad it was. she was intent on not giving me narcotics. she even said i was late to office visits in the past. (which is impossible because i always have a 2 hour wait at that office} asked for the manager to try and get my co pay back.. but she wasnt any help. worst experience in health care ever..i even let them change me from tuesday to thursday for this horrible experience.

Do your homework before you see a doctor for a serious illness Dr Windsor is more interested in making money not patient care His staff is lacking in manners You will not see him, he rotates new doctors in every summer for â??trainingâ?? if he isnt there who is really training them, he orders a lot of procedures to allow these doctors to learn procedures , procedures you may not really need

My former PM&R doctor came to the conclusion that I needed a more experienced provider to deal with my complexity of pain issues. I am a 100% disabled vet. I did research and found the website for Dr. Windsor. I was thoroughly impressed and went back to her with his name for a referral. My 1st appt. I was immediately asked to go give a urine screen and as soon as I came out my insurance card. I complied. I saw a decent doctor and told him I DID NOT need meds refilled because I was yet due for a refill & still had a portion of my previous bottles left. He told me to return in 2wks and just tell the front desk that I was just there for scripts. I came back on the 29th and was forced to take a second drug screen, see a new provider and was given trigger point injections by a medical assistant, not a nurse, PA etc. I was infuriated because they billed my insurance TWICE in one month for horrible services and two expensive urine screens. I was floored when I got my insurance bill because… they lab they used charged my insurance over 4k for TWO URINE SCREENS, this was on top of what the office itself billed. I had a 3rd appt. & a third appt. & yet another drug screen followed by another 2k billed from the lab. While sitting in the office on this day vendors were coming in selling items and barbeque plates, this was very off-setting. I stepped outside because the lobby was full and there was no place to sit. A lady was talking about her husband's "meds being decreased because he tested positive of marijuana, but he has a brain tumor, so he has to come every two weeks." I thought to myself, "something does not feel right about this place. I've seen three doctors, no continuity of care and they are overbilling my insurance." The lady kept talking to the other patients or family members outside and said, "I think we are going to start paying in cash because they give you what you want if you pay in cash." I was disappointed wondering what I got myself into. I went back in and asked how long before I was to be seen. My mother told me she did not feel good about this place because while I was in the back they announced that they were not seeing anymore patients for the day. I called my former PM&R dr back and scheduled a consult with her. I told her what occurred and she told me to come back and we would look together for another provider. I called my insurance company and they told me the lab was under investigation and the billing for the urine screen was in excess of any other they had seen and they duplicated several of the tests to increase the amount they hoped to be paid. I was encouraged to file a complaint against the lab and practice. I called this place back and cancelled my follow-up. The next thing I know I get a bill for nearly 2k, including $40 for a "no show." I called several weeks in advance to cancel once my old doc told me to come back. They still send me the bill periodically. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WITH LEGITIMATE CHRONIC PAIN ISSUES. I have a very serious autoimmune disease, severe joint damage, spinal stenosis, deg disc disease, herniated disc, OA of the knees, hands, shoulders and elbows and it was a nightmare. Stay away folks. I learned not to believe everything on a provider's website, because THEY write it and you'll be disappointed and having to search for a new provider when it is a stressor you do not need if you are living with chronic health issues. The sad part is as a patient with chronic health issues I'm always fearful that rogue practices and non-legit patients may one day force me and others like me to be denied the services needed to have a decent quality of life.

I think your staff in lexington is Rude,Cruel and unprofessional.You all need manners.Your Doctor Gilbert that works for you cusses his patient out,His staff PA Dee is snobby,hateful and dont give a dam about the patiant just her dam self.A lot of the patients talk among there self abut her and what a B*tch she is to people.Now is that how you should run a bussiness.Your staff is hateful too.Like a heard of cattle.Not caring what the patients feels or need.No you like that pay check comming in.And you all dont care how you get it.I think I turn you into the Bord of Cerdential see what they like to say about your nasty attuides.Poor patients care.Do you know I have a law suite and thing about sueing your as*

This guy thinks he's God. He's not. He's arrogant, waits can be over an hour, and he pushes expensive procedures, then says that if you don't want a procedure you can go to another doctor.
