Excellent in every way

excellent surgeon

Dr. Winters successfully operated on mom. He took time to explain everything and no details were spared. If my life was on the line, I would want Dr. Winters!

Maybe he was having a bad day, I don't know but his Bedside manner is poor and he's not interested in what I had to say. I'll locate another Vascular Doctor in the area. Too old to put up with his arrogance.

This Dr was rude and did nt listen he just told me how great he was. He is manic.

As a mid-30 something it was a bit unusual for me to find myself at a vascular surgeon. I found Dr. Winter to be quite to the point, but patient with my questions, and yes he second guessed some, but not incorrectly and I do the same in my area of expertise so that didn't bother me. I didn't feel rushed at all. Dr. Winter took time to show me the problem on my scans, showed me what the procedure would look like in a different video and made sure that I felt comfortable with the proceedings. I was further reassured by the nursing staff at FL Hospital that was in the OR with him in they were free with the accolades of him before he arrived and clearly liked working with him. After the surgical procedure he again showed me my video of the surgery and the area of problem and what it looked like. He was extremely professional, courteous, to the point, and I felt generous with his time. While I hope to not need a surgeon again, I wouldn't hesitate to call on Dr. Winter again.

It's very frustrating when a doctor listens for 20 seconds, then interrupts and thinks he has all the answers. He is part of the group of doctors that decides what's wrong with you in the first 15 seconds. BAD PRACTICE OF MEDICINE.
