Dr. Robert Kurt Wolter, MD

Dr Wolter's office assistant was very friendly, helpful and nice. however, after seeing Dr Wolter she was gone and another person tried to schedule appointments for me. she was unable to do this and advise she would have his assistant call the next day. I never received that phone call. When I contacted the doctors office the following Monday and spoke with the assistant she was not very apologetic for this error, however was able to schedule the appiontments needed. Also, Dr Wolter spent very limited time in the room with me and did not seem to really listen to what I was saying. I had called several days later to advise there were further symptoms, left a message at 8:00am with the assistant and by 3:00pm had still not heard back from the office. When I followed up i was told again they would speak with the doctor and get back to me. as of right now I have not heard back from them.

Dr. Wolter is a great doctor. He makes you feel comfortable , and he has a great sense of humor. I had seen him about 10 years ago for surgery. I had a broken nose and deviated septum. I was so nervous, but he spent a lot of time addressing my anxieties, and then did a great job putting me back together! A few days after the surgery I had some questions and I tried to get ahold of him during non office hours. The answering service paged him, and he called me back while he happened to be at a funeral!He still answered all my questions and didn't hurry me off the phone.Let me tell you this people. I'm a Medical Assistant and have worked with, and around several doctors.And it's sad to say that I am sure none of them would go the extra mile. Even though I work in the field I have to agree with many that there really is that lack of compassion nowadays.I just went back this week for an ear infection. (I have to mention that he looks the same as he did 10 years ago, so kudos to you… doctor!)I don't think I willl be needing any kind of surgery, but if I did I wouldn't let anybody else do it.
