I had embolization done for fibroids back in 2006 when this Dr was working out of The Roxborough, PA hospital. It was an awful experience I would wish on anyone. They sent me home even though I was throwing up & peeling myself at the same time. If the embolization would have been a success maybe I would have forgot about all that but here I am in 2015 with a uterus & fibroids the same size (16 weeks) as they were in 2006. This Dr also hops around a lot. After Roxborough, he was at the Pottstown hospital & now Wayne. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Do ALL your research. This includes Dr's, procedures-everything. I'm going to get a hysterectomy this time around. I'm done having children & uterine cancer runs in my family. I wish I would have gone that route in 2006. I was also told that after menopause fibroids shrink because there is no blood source. Not true for me. Not true for many. Look in to it. I'm Now having tremendous back pain as well as a lot of pressure in my abdomen. I… hope this helped.
