I had been struggling for over a year to get proper diagnosis and treatment for a breathing condition that was disabling me. Tired of waiting for tests and follow up appointments, I called down to Santa Barbara to see what kind of pulmonary services were available. I ended up calling the "Wright" office. I was scheduled for a consultation 3 days later. When I arrived at the appointment they immediately performed a PFT and then I met Dr. Wright. He was compassionate and pragmatic. After looking through my chart he immediately ordered a ABG test in his office and scheduled me for a CPET later that same day. He was determined to get to the bottom of my issue. I failed the CPET so he scheduled a Right Heart Cath the next week to rule out pulmonary hypertension. Only a month later, after several other tests and constant monitoring he was able to diagnose and begin treating me for an allergic reaction to something I inhaled that caused severe inflammation in my lungs. I felt like I was his… only patient every visit. His care surpasses any other medical experience I have ever had. He even personally called me on a Saturday just to check in. We praise God for a very competent and experienced doctor who helped me breathe and live again!

Dr. Wright has been primary physician as well as my Cardioplumonary doctor for over ten years. I am in my 77th year on this planet and never received more competent, responsive and caring treatment by any Doctor. Dr. Wright saved my life. I was misdiagnosed as having COPD by a doctor in Bakersfield. After receiving his name from the UCLA Liver Transplant Program an appointment was made. He examined me then stated that I didn't have COPD but congestive heart failure. Am now being treated for it, thanks to Dr. Wright. Outstanding practitioner.
