20 years ago I met Dr. Yancey during a very difficult time for me at 12 years old. A trusted doctor that I had had since my injury at 4 botched a simple spinal fusion. So bad that my rods ripped out of my back while I sat eating dinner . Yancey was called in to try and fix the issue . It took him 3 revisions to fix the awful work that had been done one me . Our relationship didn’t end there though. A few years later I ended up with osteomyelitis and was septic on life support. ICU doctors tried to take my entire leg, and Dr. Yancey fought tirelessly through all the political and bureaucratic mess to do emergency surgery in the ICU on me to save my life . In my entire life I’ve never had a doctor love me and fight for me and my life more then this man . He doesn’t just put you under the knife for no reason and he won’t give you an unnecessary surgery . He is intelligent and kind. He is honest and will not give you false expectations . This man gives months of his time to Doctors… Without Borders and helps people throughout the world . This man is 1 in a million when it comes to surgeons and a doctor . I will not go back to this doctor. He is a research dr and i didnt fit into his bell curve for pain. He would not give me enough medication to be able to sleep after my knee replacement therapy. I took my husband with me and we tried to explain my pain needs. he treated me as if i was an addict. I am a sixty five year old women who barely even drinks. He doesnt listen to his patients and what they need. If ever a person needs potent drugs it ia after a painful surgery. I have had several surgeries and get off my medications as quickly as i can. By the way, my knee has taken 2 years to heal

Dr. Yancey has performed two knee and two hip replacements for my husband in the last 2 years. His expertise in his field cannot be praised higher. He performed anterior surgeries on his hips which had him up walking with 3 hours. Cannot praise this doctor enough. Now I am facing shoulder surgery for muscle injuries and will look into Dr. Yancey to perform my surgery as well. I would feel much better knowing his qualifications and personal results... Hopefully it will not be a long to see

He has done 2 knee replacement surgeries and 1 hip replacement for me. Excellent Dr. Cares about his patients and the results of surgery are great.. I walk about 2 1/2 miles a day with no pain.
