I was at the Fontaine medical center in East Harwich with my husband. We’re from out of state. This doctor never bothered to take his hands out of his pockets, was rude and rather condescending. 26 years experience or not, his conduct was unprofessional.

Went to ER with severe migraine. Spent less than a minute with me and asked me what I wanted for meds! Seriously? Terrible bedside manner to boot.

I was assigned this doctor during a visit to CCH and have to say he was right on target diagnosing my problem. His professionalism was top notch and I felt very comfortable with his vast knowledge. Excellent man!

My 88 year old mother saw Dr. Zakum when she arrived by ambulance from a bad fall at Cape Cod Hospital. The only test he took were blood, urine & EKG even though she came in on a backboard & neck brace. Said she had a strained back and sent her home with instructions to take tylenol every 8 hours. Turns out she had fractured a bone in her back and he NEVER even took an x-ray of her back and that was her only complaint. She had surgery and is much better now.

I can't tell you how happy I was to see Dr. Zarum. He is one of the smartest men I have ever seen. Great Doctor all around.

I went into the emergency room with severe pelvic pain. After waiting 2 hours, I was informed I was only waiting to take a UTI test. THE DR. stated that "there are only 2 things that it could be, a urinary tract infection or painful menstruation" ! I informed him that 3 of 9 women in my family have had endometriosis (left untreated could be fatal). It turns out I have large benine tumors.
