Dr. Robert M. Zemble, MD

Dr. Zemble is highly unethical and shockingly incompetent. I made an appointment with him to assess my asthma. He spent very little time on my asthma and turned my appointment into an allergy assessment. He decided to perform all of the basic allergy tests, which I've had done many times over my lifespan. In fact, I listed all of my allergies in the patient portal and he took it upon himself to re-test for those allergies. Never once did he ask me when I last saw an Allergist or had any testing done. But, why would he, I was there to get my Asthma checked. But the end of my appointment, I was thoroughly confused by everything, and had no idea what I was just tested for. His diagnosis and recommendations were even more bizarre. Rhinitis and Conjunctivitis. I never once mentioned any issues with my nose or eyes. The entire appointment was very confusing to me. I later called the office to discuss my experience. I asked them what my appointment was scheduled for, as I thought maybe… someone scheduled the appointment wrong. After much back and forth, they stood firm that it was Dr. Zemble's decision to do the testing and that I'm responsible for the entire $895 bill. Needless to say, I've cancelled my follow-up appointment and I will never be back. It's very disheartening to come across a Doctor like this.

I was diagnosed with asthma by Dr.Zemble 4 years ago, he placed me on an inhaler which did not relieve my symptoms. He kept increasing the dosage which still did not relieve my symptoms. I finally started seeing another allergy/asthma doctor. On my very first visit my doctor ordered a chest xray & found that I do not have asthma. Awaiting further testing to figure out what exactly is going on. Dr. Zemble never ordered a chest xray or thought to look into why the medication was not improving my symptoms. I would NEVER recommend anyone going to Dr. Zemble

Dr. Zemble has been following my child for several years now for eczema and food allergies. When we first starting seeing Dr. Zemble, her skin looked terrible. He spent a lot of time explaining to us what eczema actually was and the best ways to treat it. The change in her skin was incredible. We have now been able to introduce almost all foods that she was avoiding and although we still have to be very attentive in skin care, her skin looks great. Dr. Zemble has always been very caring and thoughtful.

I have two children with multiple yet different symptoms. I went to my Internist who I have had for ten years. In addition, I obviously went to my Pediatrician. Both doctors tried some meds but came up empty. I was told that maybe they would grow out of it, yet the symptoms continued and my little girl was hardly eating. In desperation I tried an Allergist and thank God I found Dr. Zemble. In addition to diagnosing each of their problems(different) he was kind and sympathetic. Symptoms gone and my little girl is eating like never before. Wonderful man. Wonderful doc.

Dr. Zemble was very knowledgeable and caring. He spent a lot of time answering all of my questions. His nurse who did the testing was great and she was very helpful as well in teaching us how to properly use my sons medications.

He was the only doctor taking my child's insurance at the time I scheduled an appointment. They had told me if I canceled I would have to pay $100 for "wasting the doctors time". When we got there I felt dirty. The entire place was filthy. Office staff we just talking for the entire 20 minutes we waited. Finally when called back we ha to wait another 25-30 minutes just to see Dr. Zemble. He came in took his history and looked and me and my mother who also went like we were stupid. My child is allergic to multiple foods and he sat there and told us food doesn't alter your mood. For my son it does. A nurse came in later and did the skin test on his back. Waited and nothin happened. Not even the one supposed to react to show the skin is reacting. Because she dropped the fluids on his back and never scratched them in properly. So she redid the one to show his skin is reacting and not the foods. It then worked when done properly. Dr Zemble then came back and never looked at his back once!!… The nurse told us he was fine. He then told me to start giving him te foods that have been makin him sick. How he is a specialist I don't know. Do not take your child here. I will be redoing the test elsewhere.

Dr. Zemble is rude and condesceding. I do not recommend him at all.

I took my daughter to go see a Specialist because I am genuinely concerned about the reactions I have seen her go thru. I am a single mom of three kids, working full time and I dont have time to drive 45 mins away and take time off work to take her to the doc because im making something up. He made me feel like I was a child who didnt know any better. he talked to me like I was insignificant and ignorant. I will not be taking my daughter back into that office again.

So desparate and scared it motivated me to visit specialist for the 1st time in 21yrs&16days! Dr.Zemble did not think a person could get a reaction to so many things. That I didn't know what anaphalactic shock exp.was like. I jokingly said I'd demonstrate but I was too tired from the last one. He said at one point we may have to challenge some meds.But I know your next reaction can be your last,epi-pen or not!This was the closest I came to not making it back. My exp. with the Dr. made me feel invalidated,worse than when I went in there,sad about his lack of knowledge. Also, his atentions were so divided,he kept hoping up to attend to things, I felt like we had to keep starting over.
