Dr. Roberta Lynn Krueger

Dr. Krueger assisted with the delivery of my child. She is smart and brilliant and competent beyond words. I recommend Dr. Krueger with the highest honors. She is one of the most if not the most respected OB/GYN in San Antonio so if you are looking for a physician with her specialty make sure you call to get an appointment sooner than later... she is worth the wait!

Dr. Krueger is a fabulous dr. I transferred to her office at about 20 weeks along with a high risk pregnancy. I have a heart condition, and she was the only physician out of a long list I talked to that would accept me. She has experience that allows her to confidently and skillfully care for most any pregnancy and yet I know she would not hesitate to refer me to a specialist if she felt there was an issue that needed further attention. I am now halfway through my second pregnancy with her and cannot recommend her highly enough. I rarely have to wait (and when I do, it’s not usually very long) to be seen and yet when she comes in, she knows me by name and spends time with me answering questions and explaining things when needed. I also appreciate that she will never order or pressure into more tests than are absolutely necessary. Her staff is great and the office is nice and maintained. Also, it may sound funny, but she doesn’t make you pee in a cup for your prenatal check ups. You… just pee right on the little test strip and leave that in a cup. It’s silly, but any lady who was very pregnant and had to try to pee into one of those stupid little cups can appreciate how nice it would be to not have to do that—like ever! If you’re looking for a great OB, you can’t go wrong with Dr. Krueger and staff!

When you have a great doctor like Dr. Krueger, there is going to be a wait- It's worth it. After she calls you to the back, your time is your time. She answers all your questions, doesn't sugar coat anything, and does all she can to make sure you and your tiny one are in good health. I absolutely love this office. I've been going here for several years now and am expecting my first child in the next few days. As a first time parent, there has been A LOT of questions and she has been there for me since day 1 to answer all of them and lead me on the right path through pregnancy! I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I have seen her as my GYN Dr for 4 years and now she is my OB since I am currently pregnant. I love her and would never change !! She is very easy to talk to and I have a great relationship with her.

I have been under Dr. Krueger's care for over ten years and through two pregnancies. It's hard to find a doctor that is so knowledgeable and truly cares about their patients the way she does. One of my regrets is switching to a doctor that could deliver at a baptist hospital for my first child. I worked at Baptist and my hospital stay was covered. After the experience with Dr. Krueger delivering my second I would have easily had paid the 5,000$ out of pocket for her to have delivered my first. As a nurse the difference between hospital systems astounded me! Methodist was so family orientated and the nursing staff was so helpful and warm. I highly recommend Dr. Krueger to anyone looking for an OB/GYN!

She is attentive to a patient's concerns and helps you feel like you are the only patient in the office.

Dr. Krueger has been my doctor for 5 years now. I have referred several friends to her. She is not only a fantastic doctor, but a wonderful person as well. She makes a point to visit with her patients on a more personal level.

I went in to Dr. Krueger because I hadn't been to my old OBGYN in years and she was only delivering babies. I chose her because she was recommended to me by the last insurance provider I had. The first time that I went to Dr. Krueger was about a year ago and I went in to get back on birth control because I was having very irregular periods. She was initially very courteous and appeared to be a great doctor though she had to leave in a hurry to deliver a baby. She prescribed some birth control pills for me and I walked out happy. After 4 months on the pills, I was having major spotting issues so I called her and she seemed bothered by my call and said that my body just probably getting used to the pills. She sounded annoyed the ENTIRE time which made me feel rather uncomfortable. She ended up calling in a different birth control for me. I was so bothered by the phone call that I thought of not returning to her for my yearly checkup. A year later, I ended up going back to her because I… didn't really have a choice. I'd waited too long to find another OBGYN and I needed a new birth control prescription. This time, when I went in, I arrived very early so I was seen right on time. I sat down for my vitals and heard a woman in one of the rooms groaning in pain. I then, noticed the assistants in the office giggling to themselves and each other and rolling their eyes (obviously about the patient in the room since the one laughing had just walked out of it]. I thought of walking out at that moment but I really needed my pills so I reluctantly went in the patient waiting room and undressed and readied for my checkup. I'd been having spotting recently also so I felt it was urgent. Once, Dr. Krueger came in, she made a comment on my weight gain (which wasn't much, btw]. The way she commented wasn't in a professional manner either. It was VERY unprofessional. She made me feel so uncomfortable and fat by the way she was staring me down. She was checking me and making yucky faces when she noticed my spotting and acted like I was the grossest thing ever. I'm sorry but aren't OBGYN's supposed to be used to seeing women's vagina's, healthy or not?? I uncomfortably left her office and plan to never return. Ever. I highly recommend that nobody steps foot in this office. Don't be fooled like I was....
