Great Caring gynecologist !!

Dr de Castro was my doctor during pregnancy and delivery. He was outstanding during the entire time

Just had first appointment with Dr. deCastro. He can be a bit wordy, but maybe that's just the new patient spiel? He seems nice, and well-meaning, and we liked his dry sense of humor. He was willing to order the prenatal tests we wanted, which was nice.

This doctor was very steril and uncaring. He treated me like I was a piece of furniture with no feelings.

Dr DeCastro made me feel horrible about myself during my pregnancy. All he talked about during my appointments was my weight gain. He never told me about the baby or how she was growing. Instead he would lecture me for a half hour on weight and how I was never going to look the same again. He said that I traumatized my body and even if I lost the weight the damage was already done and I would never recover. I left every appointment in tears because his words hurt so much. I had to switch doctors in the clinic at 7 months because I could not imagine having him deliver my baby. He may be a good doctor if you only gain a few pounds during your pregnancy but if you gain too much his words hurt like you wouldn't believe.
