Dr. Roberto Jose Diaz, MD

Awful. I rcvd neck injections from him 2 yrs ago, he put me to sleep which he should not have done. As soon as I woke up I was in excruciating pain, doctor, and nurse at facility didn't seem to care. As soon as I tried to stand my right leg gave out, symptoms progressively got worse. I called for 3 days, finally MA returned my call and told me it couldn't possibly be his fault. 2 yrs later it is still progressively getting worse, nerve damagto right lower extremity to the point now that it is extremely painful to wear a shoe, neuropathy so bad now its difficult to stand, walk, or even sit. And if my husband wasn't with me, he did not listen to my complaints. Also treated me like a drug seeker when I kept telling him the pain meds weren't helping, so he did blood test, and guess what, alot of meds won't work on me. Not once did he call to check on me after all my neuro complaints after procedure, nor did I get an apology for being treated like a drug seeker.

Excellent doctor and staff

I am still waiting for this nursing staff to contact my insurance company for authorization to treat. The insurance company has called the nursing staff and they refuse to give the information necessary for the insurance company to authorize treatment....I AM IN SEVERE PAIN DUE TO THIS NONCOMPLIANCE!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Diaz. I have referred several people to him. His bedside manner is superb. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. He spends time with each of his patients, and helped me to feel at ease with each visit and procedure that he did for me. His staff is knowledgeable & helpful in all situations. Courtesy is important to me, and his staff delivers. He has several locations that are convenient for everyone.

My over all visit with Dr. Diaz and his staff was excellent. I've been going to several pain management doctors for over 10 years and Dr. Diaz has been the only one to put all his effort in finding where the exact pain is and helping minimize my pain level. I especially liked how Dr. Diaz wasn't judgmental. Most doctors look at me without looking at my medical file and assume I have no pain because of age. I'm so thankful to have him as my doctor because I finally feel like I'm getting the help I need. As for his staff they are very polite, helpful and quick to call you to the back. My waiting period has never been longer than 15 minutes and the shortest was no more than 5 minutes.

The doctor was recommended to me by one of my friends. I have been in and out of pain medicine doctors, and have come to know a lot. When I first met the doc, he looked young to me which made me a bit skeptical. I proceeded and let him evaluate me. The doctor told me everything that I knew about my pains, and more. He went above and beyond explaining to me the situation, and a plan to help assist with my pain. He educated me very much, and was extremely patient and concerned. I did not feel rushed one bit, like I usually would. He worked very well with me and gave me different options instead on one. I have seen him since, and will continue to. If you want some one who truly cares, and will do what it takes to help with your pain this is your guy. He is very knowledgeable and you will leave satisfied with his recommendations.

I had finally decided to find a pain specialist after my Family Doctor would "rather not" write my pain prescriptions medications for narcotics. My chronic pain has never been controlled and I needed a trial for a pain pump. My spine in fused, so getting to my spinal cord will be difficult. When I first saw Dr. Diaz and I was completely reassured. He is interested in me and my pain problems. He was able to access my spine and he did my trial is over. Wonderful smart, nice doctor. If you have uncontrolled pain issues I strongly suggest him.

I recall he is most patient and is willing to explain, in laymen's terms, the details of my current condition based on tests and examination. He than offers the treatment options for the patient to choose from. I took his advise and, though I am a complex patient, he was able to obtain excellent results for me. He will revise his schedule if you have an urgent need.
