Roberto Lucca, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1987 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Studies from Purdue University in 1983. Dr. Roberto Lucca’s passion for healthcare lead him to pursue a career in eyecare. At a very young age, Dr. Lucca witnessed his grandmother lose her vision. That experience made Dr. Lucca realize how devastating vision loss is for an individual or loved one. To Dr. Lucca, being an optometrist allows him to serve and protect people's vision, as well as educate them about their eyecare needs. In Dr. Lucca’s free time, he enjoys traveling, playing the bass guitar, socializing with friends and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. He is also a sports fanatic, especially the Real Madrid soccer team.
