Dr. Roberto Villegas, MD

Doctor should consider hiring help to see patients. Waiting area always crowded, does not go by appointment times. He is a great doctor and very well experienced along with bedside manners. Wish we can say the same about his clerical staff. RUDEEE!! They answer the phone is such a rush only to say "please hold" and then make you wait just to clearly pick up the line and hang up. Lazy women!!! They give the dr a bad rep. it's been ongoing for years.

What a horrible visit with this Dr. He does not like for a parent to ask questions. Our visit was partly about the baby’s formula. He proceeded to go on a rant about how terrible soy formula was. When I, the grandma, asked what he would recommend he waived his hand in my face and told me that only my daughter could ask him questions. I said I didn’t understand the contradiction of him saying how horrible Soy formula is but said continue giving it to the baby if you want. WHATAFAAA?? He asked”What contradiction “? I said the one about the formula. He went as far as to say that soy formula was S-H-I-T poop but wouldn’t give a recommendation. When I asked what was good and that he was the Dr his response was oki call the shots. Similar sensitive it is. I simply responded with a Great. You called a shot. That’s what we came for. If we knew all the answers we wouldn’t need to see him now would we? What a horrible person. No Bedside Manner. This was our first and last experience with… this man. You can’t see someone who makes you feel worse than when you came in. Get your S-H-I-T together Doc....or RETIRE! Ugh!

I have no complaints what so ever about the Dr.; however, his staff is so condescending it's insane. No manners, no respect! I have read so many comments that say the same thing and I am not sure if the Dr. reads them, but I hope he does. His staff needs a customer service training to get their attitude in check. If you hate your job, MOVE ON!!!! This is for the lady that is at check out!!!

My daugther had a full week of high temperature. On the third dat i took her to Dr villegas , he said she had nothing, sent her to hospital for lab work that came out begative, she was still with high fever I took her to a clinic , they said she had sosr throat and have her antibiotic.

Doctor is great the staff is horrible.

Dr. Villegas is a very good Dr. I would not change him for any other Dr. My family has been going with him for about 5 years and we love him....ð???

He yelled the diagnosis from the door I couldn't hear it n don't know what is wrong with my baby he was rude the whole time n when I couldn't hear him over my crying baby he just walked out.yelled something about medicine from the hall way. I expect that from burger joints not educated doctors.all the after a three hour wait.of course payment was taken within five minutes

This doctor manages his pediatric practice like an urgent care clinic. He will not make sick child appointments, he requires any child there for other than a well child check up to sign in between 1:30-2:30 (ie before any public school is out) to be seen first come first serve. We have arrived before one and still waited for more than 2 hours once the office opened (in other words, more than 2.5 hours). We have also been there for almost four hours waiting. Because of the sign up time and the wait time, you have to pick up any child in the public school before going ;if you don't have alternative arrangements for pick up, as we do not). Then, all sick kids, siblings, and those waiting for well child appointments sit side by side for hours in the wait room breathing on each other. (Might as well sign in your children who are well, too, as they will likely be sick by the time you leave.) By the time the doctor sees your child, he is rushing to meet the demand (because they never know day… to day whether 10 or 50 patients will show up or know ahead of time what their symptoms are); thus, he has little energy or time for your child. I have never seen a health practice run so poorly, and I have lived all over the country. It's a shame because Dr. Villegas seems like he would be a pretty good doctor if his practice was not so poorly managed.

I waited 4 hours to be seen by Dr Villegas and only got 5 min of his time. He is extremely sarcastic and rude with his answers and when he "was done" seeing my son left the room on to the next patient. He didn't even ask if I had any more questions (which I did) or tell me we were done. He just left us in the room until a nurse came in and gave us a summary of the visit telling us he was done and if we still has more questions we needed to wait until he was done with the next patient. I will NEVER go back.

Every time I went cause my baby had fevers he always blamed it on the allergies. We always wait more than 2 1/2 hours +, one of the times I arrived at 1:00 (was not one of the last to arrive) and we were the last patient to be seen we ended up leaving around 6:30. This past time my daughter got her ear pierced and my daughter "got a hold of the trigger" and pulled it piercing it wrong so he had to pierce her AGAIN on the SAME EAR. Mind you my daughter is 15 months old and I had mentioned to the aid that if she was unable to hold her down to just not do it. My daughter is traumatized for two weeks she's been crying in her sleep and is extremely attached will not leave my side. You need a sympathetic doctor that will treat them like he would his own. This is not the case. I'm furious.
