Dr. Robertus Hasan Kounang, MD

Dr. Kounang denies patients for electric scooter chairs he saves the insurance company tons of money by denying medically in need people the right to live a decent quality of life. He is very unprofessional and does not care or have any concern regarding the patients needs.

He is awful, no bedside manner, rude, abrupt, condescending & doesn't pay attention to detail,never had patient file on hand to review.

I've called several times same day no one answers during Reg Bus Hours??? Not a good First impression

I visited Dr. Kounang in Palm Springs Ca. Wait time was over 2 hours...........they had the wrong patient file and began the discussion in an open door room. I had to ask to close the door for HIPAA violation purposes. Dr. Kounang took two calls on his cell phone and looked down 5 or 6 times for texts received on his cell phone. I overheard conversations with several patients, as the Dr. did not close the door to ANY of the rooms when he was with patients. AVOID THIS DOCTOR

I am nearly 60. This doctor is maybe the worst I have ever seen. He takes very little time with his patients. While in his office I heard NUMEROUS hostile patients yelling at him. He was eager to get away from them and me. He was just looking to get his insurance fee and bail. He has difficulties understanding and following simple story lines. He came completely unprepared. Avoid him at all costs. You will regret it if you don't.

I really like Dr Kounang....he takes time with me, I do wish he was more proactive with information on the illnesses I deal with.....

Horrible time getting an appt! Got ther and waited over an hr to have him say "what do you want"
