Dr. Robi U Burns, MD

I had gone to Dr. Burns since 2005 up until 2015 when I moved away. She really listens and spends time talking to you and is sincere. She doesn't try to rush you out of the office. She is great with gynecology and nutrition. I wish I could find a Dr out here that actually knew about nutrition instead of giving me a very simple food diagram. She is amazing. The reviews from other people online just seem wrong. Her staff was always great too. In all these years never had a reason to go elsewhere.

She knows her stuff. She is pleasant and caring.

I had to go get paperwork done for my job, the office staff were terrible and utterly rude. After much arguing with them, the office manager told me she would have the doctor fill out my paperwork and call me the next day. I have only a short window to get this paperwork turned in or I will lose my job. They never called me back the next day and the day after that I got an email early in the morning that they would be closed for the next week. I called the day they opened back up to see if they had it and the front desk lady said "we thought you were coming to get it last week". When I received my paperwork, they had put blatant lies on it. Now my job is on the rocks because of these people who have complete disregard for the lives of their patients. Luckily I have proof that they are lying though, so hopefully it will help my case. The whole situation has been physically and mentally draining on me. They should be ashamed!

I thought I had found a gem in Dr Burns when as a new patient I was referred about a year ago. She was helping me with alternative methods to treat a chronic condition. Now we both understood there would be no magic pills and that I might have to move to more invasive treatments. Today, I called her office for help because both her prescription and my GPs had not reduced a serious symptom. In fact, the symptom started raging again and I was concerned about what to do and if I could get an emergency consult. The receptionist scolded me for discontinuing Dr Burns' treatment suggestion and gave me attitude as if she herself held a medical degree. I asked to please speak w/t Dr, as I was desperate for guidance. That request was shot down, too. Dr Burns, I think your staff may be letting you down and misrepresenting what you're all about. I will not be returning to your practice because I believe there's a duty of care and respect that we patients deserve. Surely your goal cannot be to… humiliate and render women helpless? Hope you find new staff soon!

Seeing this woman was a waste of time AND money. At my first appointment, she ordered some blood tests. When I came back for the results, she claimed she understood Lupus, but proceeded to say some things that indicated she did NOT. She also said one of my hormones was the lowest she'd ever seen, then proceeded to tell me that meditation and relaxation would fix it. Are you kidding? (You see, my hormone levels were my fault for stressing so much. Huh?!) Above and beyond that, she pushed for me to take advantage of a service her office offers that would help with this sort of thing... for an extra charge my insurance wouldn't cover, because the service itself is of dubious use. Essentially, I paid her to make a sales pitch! I don't need meditation, I need medication! I was very upset and angry, and refuse to go back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Burns for over ten years. I see her for my yearly women wellness check ups. Last week I saw my primary care doctor who recommended I see my OBGYN as soon as possible. I called Dr. Burns office and they wouldn't fit me into their schedule for a week. But I took solace in knowing I was seeing my doctor who has treated me for so long, I trusted her, especially since my diagnosis may require surgery. I showed up for my appointment only to be turned away, as they stated I was a half hour late and the doctor already left for the day. I showed up at the right time, I even got their voice mail confirming it! I asked to see her partner who was still in the office treating patients, and was refused! They don't see each others patients. I explained how this was an emergency. They told me I needed to go to the ER or a quick care, and the women had such a smug look on her face. I was so disgusted and tired of arguing to people who obviously do not care, so I demanded my… records. Which they wouldn't provide to me for another week. I have never been so displeased with a physicians office. Especially since I work in the field, no professional courtesy, let alone they could care less about their patients. If this is the support staff that Dr. Burns wants to depend on and surround herself with then I can no longer trust or rely on her as my physician.

Stay away from this office unless you have a death sentence! This office is rediculous!!! I will be complaining to the medical board. They do not care about there paitents and they seem to charge for everything. Unheard of charging you extra fees for using a debit or credit card. After waiting a week for results from an ultrasound the day of my apt they called to reschedule. It took 5 weeks to get my pap results in! Which on the results said they had them 2 days after my pap and of course the worse part was they were abnormal and apperently I had a yeast infection that had been left untreaded waiting for these results. I found a new Dr and sent a release form to there office. 2 weeks later nothing, they say they never got it. So i went to the office myself and signed one there and asked for them to be released to myself as well. I was told i had to pay per page to get them and she had to get Dr approval to release them and they would send them to me and my take up to 10 days! Stay away

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!I went to Dr. Burns because I had been in a lot of pain. She sent me to get an ultrasound. The office never called letting me know they where there. I had to call them and yup they got them, but never called me to let me know. Then on top of that they couldn't get me in for a week to go over the results! So here I sit in pain waiting. Finally the day of my appointments comes and I get a call from the office 3 hrs before my appointment to reschedule for a week later! Are you freaking kidding me?? It had already been 10 days from my original appointment a week since they had my results and they wanted me to wait another week sitting here in pain just waiting. After a heated talk with the poor innocent receptionist I came to the conclusion that this is how she runs her office. Having patients wait as they sit in pain for weeks waiting for relief and answers.This is a Dr I do not recommend to anyone. This Dr does not care about her patients! I found another Dr
