Dr. Robin Minna Buchholz, MD

I made a appointment with this doctor after my regular dermatologist dropped from my insurance plan, she was in same practice and specialized in my condition. When booked i was told 4:20, when I arrived i was informed my scheduled appointment was 4:50. At 5:30 i was finally called to office (I had been waiting area at this point for 1 hour and 20 minutes). The medical assistant was very pleasant reviewing my history and my current issue, after informing her this was a regular 3 months check-up suggested by my former dermatologist she left room to inform Dr. Buchholz. I overheard the doctor questioning her the reason for my visit. she continued to ask questions that were clearly in my chart history. I decided to dress, the assistant asked me not to leave and advised the doctor i was going to leave, she instructed her to tell me she would be in shortly. I was exasperated with her lack of concern; the long wait etc. All questions she wanted answered before entering the room were in my… chart. She even asked the assistant if i had any flare-up; well, that was the reason for my visit, if i could diagnosis myself i wouldn't have bother to make appointment. Even as she was told i was dressing to leave she made no attempt to reach out to me. I don't know the treatment she usually accords her patient but if this is indicative of her service I suggest you stay away, I know I will.

Dr.Buchholz, is a terrible, incompetent Dermatologist when to see her for a skin condition. I was never examined only by observing it she prescribed the wrong medication. Self intuition made me seek another Dermatologist After the second visit to the new physician it was a big improvement. I will never recommend her professional services to any one.

Terrible. She misdiagnosed me, not realizing I had cellulitis, and gave me a cream which made it so much worse. Infection spread all over my torso and was horribly painful. When I called to discuss, she refused to get on the phone! I just wanted to figure it out and treat it, but I guess she was too worried about lawsuits to worry about my excruciating pain. She put her Assistant on the phone, and I could hear Dr. Buchholz in the background telling the asst to blame me! I repeat, terrible. Do not use.

Dr. Buccholz was very kind, polite, professional. She answered my questions and didn't rush. I was in and out of the office in 1 hour. The staff are courteous enough but they do not return calls

She was one of the most knowledgeable and professional doctors I encountered. Who could ever post even slightly negative comment?

Compassionate, caring,professional and Dr. Buchholtz diagnosed and treated my problem expertly.

Dr. Buccholz caught a malignant melonoma on my back that prior dermatogists simply told me to keep an eye on. We're talking about a deadly form of cancer that the Dr. Buchholz caught when I was seeing her about another issue. I can't say enough good things about her. Unlike most Doctors I encountered in the city, Dr. Buccholz took the time to answer all my questions and I could tell she was genuinely listening to me. Melanomas can progress to a very deadly stage. She saved my life!

Dr Bucholz is a highly skilled and trained dermatologistFrankly I cannot believe that people on this site could be so nasty to a woman who has so many years of skill and educationOur society is an entitled bunch of spoiled people. If Dr Bucholz runs behind it is because she is involved with a patient and not doing her nails

Dr. Buccholz kept us waiting over two hours. When we met with her there was no apology and she didn't stay very long. The staff at the front desk indicated that it was not unusual for there to be delays of this nature -- this is typical. Also, we tried several times to have other questions answered after our visit and had no luck in a return call. We even went back to her office (found a ton of people waiting again!), they took down our questions, left the cell number, and she didn't call us back. Not very impressed...

I have had about 4 appointments with her. Once I got in the same day I called (I was pregnant and had an awful ingrown hair - gross sorry - but she saw me right away and was kind and had her murse attend to me very well. I also have gone to her for annual check-ups and once when I was afraid of a new mole that appeared. All times I had to wait at least 30 minutes, but she was always thorough and gave me enough time to explain my problem (about 7-10 minutes of her time which is acutally pretty standard/good I think for the medical profession in general.) Once she did cancel on me at the last minute and the staff was trying to call eevryone, but I was already at the office. They let me see another doctor, who I thought was not as good as Dr. Buckholtz, but they did then screw up my payment record. Anlso, that's not so uncommon for a lot of medical offices. All in all I like her and plan to keep seeing her.
