Dr. Robin Bishop Cardwell, MD

I had an excellent dr appointment with dr Cardwell. She didn’t waste my time and was very thorough and kind to me and my concerns. I am appreciative for her because there may be inexperienced doctors somewhere but my experience with Dr Cardwell was she was patient, personable and informative.

I have been a patient for a few years, and while she is very capable... It is very clear she doesn't like obese people. She has been more concerned with my weight than my vagina or any other issue I have brought into the office. She isn't very personable, and gets hyper focused on issues that are but her concern. Yes.:. I know I am fat. My GP knows I am fat. Yes, we are taking care of it. Next time, when I see you in the middle Of a PANDEMIC, maybe ask how I am, instead of saying, you've gained weight. Your DR is doing blood work yes? Yes. They are. Can we talk about my lady parts? I'd love to address other things, but am now too uncomfortable to talk to you ahout anything because you have made me feel horrible anoint myself.

Dr. Cardwell is a a fantastic doctor. She monitored me through my pregnancy. I had issues with my blood pressure and had to deliver early. She was great during my emergency csection. She knew I get anxious easily and tried to keep me calm. I feel like she genuinely cares about her patients and wants everything to go smoothly.

I went in for issues with menstruation. They did blood work and I received a call from Dr. Cardwell and she was alarmed with my hormone levels and wanted to have a scan because she wanted to rule out an adrenal tumor. After the scan, she ended up just calling it PCOS and prescribed me birth control. I feel like she was unsure about even diagnosing it as PCOS and during my visits with her I felt like she didn’t take her time at all. She even answered her phone and left the room once.

Dr. Cardwell was my OB when I delivered my first child. She was so kind and calming during delivery. My husband and I really appreciated her friendly personality and calming presence. I would highly recommend her!

I was referred to Dr. Cardwell by another doctor because I did not have a gynecologist and I was having a problem which required more then a regular check up. My first visit went ok but I didn’t feel she spend as much time with me and explain things as well as she should have. She wanted to see me back in two weeks to see if the medicine she gave me helped me out. I went back two weeks later no better. She went over a few things made a change in medication then said that she didn’t need to see me back unless I needed to. I felt like she really didn’t know what to do and just brushed me off and out the door. I was very disappointed and now will have to look for another doctor. Why would I want to go back to her when she did not want to continue to see me to make sure my issue was resolved.

I appreciate Dr. Callison. She is personable and very smart and informative. Thank you and see you next year.

I felt like a piece of cattle - no warmth, no conversation; she was very detached. I went for a well-woman exam and it had been a couple of years. I had a concern that required more than a routine examination. She literally shoved her hand in so far I thought she could have touched my naval. It was extremely painful and I jumped? I was sore for two more days thereafter - that is how bad it was. She thought she had hit where the problem was, but actually it was because she shoved her arm up me so hard that it was painful and I told her so. No apology, nothing. I had seen her reviews but she wasn't that way with me at all. I will NEVER be treated like that again! It was terrible.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Cardwell. She listens when you talk. She is very caring. She has children and can relate to pregnancy symptoms. I highly recommend her!

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I did look up a lot of reviews before choosing one for my daughter. I am so happy I chose this doctor!! My daughter loves Dr. Cardwell! She made us feel at ease the moment she walked in! Her nurse (can't remember her name, but with long dark hair), made my daughter feel comfortable and made things professional but not so formal and managed to pull my daughter out of her shell. She treated her like a friend and not a child or just another patient. We didn't feel rushed and Dr. Cardwell made sure that my daughter and I both were informed about the process of all options from start to finish. Would definitely recommend her to everyone. At the end when we were checking out I decided to transfer my care there to her as well. It's not often you can find a doctor now that doesn't rush you in and rush you out, but makes you feel like they genuinely want listen to your concerns. Thanks Dr. Cardwell!
