Dr. Robin Lynn Dyer, MD

She has terrible bedside manners. She needs to get her own medical attention or go to anger management classes.

We organized for a day off work, caregiver, medical transport to get my mom to an appointment. I called twice to confirm the appointment and the practice cancelled without informing anyone in our family. I asked Mary Chris to please squeeze her in, it took a lot of coordination, but she would not even consider it. I asked for Dr. Dyer to call me and she said when she has time. My mom had a prior extended hospital stay and needed important labs and blood work done and now we are trying to find a new internal medicine dr. I don't feel confident with this practice and would not recommend to anyone.

Lacks compassion and communication skills.

Dr. Dyer takes the time to explain everything, orders appropriate levels of follow up testing when necessary, and promptly calls with or about results. She is diligent, careful, and compassionate. I find her to be an excellent primary care physician and first point of contact for health issues, both minor and somewhat complex.

Dr. Dyer will listen to your concerns and not hustle you out of the office like many others seem to do these days. She is genuinely concerned about your well being and is very thorough with her examinations.

Dr. Dyer is the best doctor I've ever had. She combines modern medicine with old fashioned bedside manner. Her staff is personable and knowledgeable, and her advice and care is relevant and complete!

I was referred to Dr. Dyer by a trusted friend. At my initial visit, Dr. Dyer spent longer than I anticipated listening to me about current issues and asking in depth questions about my past medical history. To my surprise, Dr. Dyer phoned me that evening because she was continuing to formulate my care plan even after the appointment ended. I am impressed with her bedside manner and professionalism.

I am highly recommending Dr Robin L Dyer. Thanks to her excellent skills as a physician and her personal attention my health has greatly improved lately. I feel welcome and very well taken care of by the entire staff at North Shore Internists every time I visit the clinic. Kudos to all of them!

I had gone to dr.dyer for quite a few years,I really thought she was wonderful! However the last few visits,she was extremely rude,and very short with me,after the first time I really should not have gone back,I did give her two more tries.SHAME ON ME! She also should take a little bit pf pride in her apperance,very disturbing for a proffesional to look like she does,and a mint would not hurt either!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dyer for 7 years. She was a great doctor, however her staff, actually her office manager Maria, leaves something to be desired. I was going out of town and needed a refill on my medication. When I called the office I asked Maria to please be on the look out for a fax from Walgreens. I explained to her that I was leaving town and that I needed a refill (I called 4 days before I needed the refill.). In a very sarcastic tone she said "I'll do my best". I feel that was an inappropriate way to speak to a patient who needs a refill on her medication. When I confronted Dr. Dyer about this, she became very rude and defensive. She asked me what she wanted her to do about it. I told her I was telling her because I thought she should know. She then asked me if I was telling her so she could feel bad instead of me. She then grabbed all her files and headed for the door. I asked her if she could look at my arm because it had been bothering me, and we… didn't even start my office visit, she turned to me and said if you want to make another appointment you can, or I can give you the name of a specialist, but your 15 minutes are up. She walked out the door, without saying goodbye, and slammed it shut. I have never witnessed such strange behavior in my life. I will never step foot in that office again.
