We always have the best care when we go to see her and i wouldnt see any other doctor

While I believe that Dr.Fountain-Dommer is most likely competent in her medical education, I will not accept a referral to her ever again. I had three separate visits w/her for two of my children. I found that when I left her office, I had more doubts and questions than when I first came in. My experience was that she had poor listening skills, lack of empathy and understanding of how frightening it is to bring a child to a cardiologist.Her "job" includes determining if there is a cardiac problem - AND - to help me understand why she concludes this. I felt as though she basically refused to answer my questions, even refusing to go over the findings on labs, ECG, Holter,EKG, Stress Test, reports, terminology,etc. She let me know that her "job is to determine if there is a heart problem, and there is none", then basically dismissed my child and I from her office. If you don't mind visiting a doctor who is "most likely" competent, but who doesn't seem to believe you need to know "why",… then this is the doc for you.

Dr. Fountain-Dommer has a wonderful bedside manor. My baby was born with a heart condition that she quickly diagnosed and referred us to O of M for open-heart surgery. I credit her as part of the team that saved my daughter's life.

I called this doctor tonight for information I need for the safety of my loved one and for medication refills, the doctor explained to me she has too many clients she follows and i need to call the office during office hours and not to bother her when she is at home in bed even after I explained the time difference of my loved one visiting me in a different state.
