Dr. Robin Gillard, MD

i feel she is very rushed, she spends as little time as possible with you, doesn't really let you speak, interrupts all the time, actually tries to edge out of the door as you are talking, refuses to acknoledge my concerns, i am not getting the treatment i think i need, also sees kids, not a pediatrician, told my 5 year old to stop whining when she was scared.

Dr. Gillard seems to not respect me as a patient, I have seen her multiple times and do not feel that she ever actually reads my chart. I have been waiting over a week for a response to a medication refill and cannot get through to her office. Had to fight to get a new MRI for degenerative disks and she said I didn't need one because I didn't have a new injury. Time to get a new doctor.

Dr. Gillard is an amazing doctor who listens and will test bases upon her vast medical knowledge. What she won't do is test your for something just because you webmd'd yourself. She gives it to you straight, no chaser. I love her and my kids adore her.

After seeing this provider multiple times I have found she does not do complete assessments. The last being she didn’t even listen to my lungs when I came in with a cough. I ended up in urgent care, on antibiotics and with the doctors absolutely appalled at her lack of catching abnormal breath sounds. Each time I see her she spends less than 3 minutes in the room. Her nurse does all of the questioning, fetches her and it is clear Dr. Gillard makes her diagnosis prior to even lying eyes on her patient. She then refuses to listen anything the patient has to say, does a subpar assessment and quickly exits the room. She is rude and lacks all empathy. I would avoid at all costs.

I've tried to research and read reviews on her and came across a few negative reviews. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and see for myself. Honestly, this is the first Doctor that I've ever encountered that seems to want as little contact with her patients. Her nurse does the bulk of questioning and then goes and retrieves her; only for her to enter and exit as quickly as she can. She doesn't ask you about any other health concerns and seems to always be in a rush.

Rudest doctor I have ever come across in the medical field. Absurd she even has a job. I will never return.

Overly judgemental. Will not listen to patients. Would not give reasons for treatment changes. Did not have any interest in explaining or answering any patients questions.
