Dr. Robin Melissa Gwaltney, MD

Dr. Robin Gwaltney joined Radiology of Huntsville in July 2010 upon completion of a Women’s Imaging Fellowship at Ellen Shaw de Parades Institute of Women’s Imaging in Richmond, Virginia, where she concentrated her focus for twelve months on mammography and breast imaging. Dr. Gwaltney’s internship in internal medicine and radiology residency were at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her M.D. degree from University of South Alabama College of Medicine, where she was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She earned a B.S. degree, Magnum Cum Laude, in biomedical science from Auburn University. Dr. Gwaltney is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and participates in giving lectures at CME meetings for technologist and physicians. She is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, The American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Breast Imaging, as well as state and local …societies.
