Dr. Robin Joan Hennessy, MD

I felt her nursing staff was very unprofessional. And senses they love to gossip about future patients. The work I had done from her I thought it was very unsatisfactory. When you came for follow-ups very rude very unprofessional could not wait to get you in and out. I was not the only person who felt this way the person who recommended me to her ended up not liking her at all or her work.

Over a period of many years, Dr Hennessy performed several surgeries on mo to correct mistakes (including breast implant error which was life threatening) by other plastic surgeons. Her past experience as a reconstructive and micro surgeon (reattaching limbs and fingers) was invaluable, and I feel very fortunate to have found someone who was as empathic and skilled as she is. Found the two reviews below very disappointing. Dr Hennessy is an excellent surgeon who unfortunately for women in Charlotte, has wound down her practice, but is still available for some smaller cosmetic procedures.

Years ago (1992) I was a patient. I had two surgeries. I was not happy with either. She offered to fix one for an extra $500.00 She still screwed it up. The followups were terrible. I felt like I was like cattle being corralled. I would not recommend her. Is she even Board Certified?

-she botched my surgeries, so that I had to go back and have her TRY (unsatisfactory) to fix them. I would never recommend her!

I have been a patient for years. I think Dr. Hennessy is the best in her field. I am sorry she doesn't have a full practice anymore but is wonderful with skin care through non-invasive care. I highly recommend Dr. Hennessy.

Several years ago Dr. Hennessey performed facial surgery on me. She was so good and attentive. The results were very good (and still are). Later I went for a tummy tuck consultation and after her evaluation she suggested I lose weight first. She was right and I appreciated her honesty.

Dr. Hennessy goes above and beyond in caring for her patients. Her level of expertise and experience is unsurpassed. I have received nothing but the best of care from her. Highlyrecommended!

I just want you to know that I have had a terrible time with my hands since you operated. I am going in for surgery and possibly will lose a finger. Two of Charlottes top hand surgeons wouldn't even consider doing anything for me stating "this should have never happened". Then was told you were not a hand surgeon. We trusted you.
