Dr. Robin Lorain Leight, MD

On the recommendation of a friend, I tried to schedule a routine gynecological visit. I had to wait eight months, which meant delaying my Pap for nearly a year, which is not medically advisable. Before the visit, the office phoned me four times to remind me to be on time. I assumed this meant that Doctor Leight respects her patient's time and commitments. I was wrong. I arrived on time, and was not told that the doctor was running late. In the waiting room, there was a board with movable discs that showed that the doctor was on time. After waiting over two hours, a nurse came to tell me the doctor had 3 emergencies. There were no ambulances in view (and the practice is across from the hospital). I asked why no one had mentioned she was running late during the prior two hours. No answer. I waited another half an hour, and was told that I would have to wait another five months to reschedule. I also told the staff that I had been on time based on their repeated phone… call demands, and that their lack of reciprocal courtesy was shocking. Additionally, forcing a patient to wait an extra year for an annual Pap smear showed a total lack of concern for my health. I had gotten off a call to assist a child in need in order to be on time for this appointment. Dr. Leight and her staff's profoundly disrespectful and unconcerned conduct resulted in me not being able to timely help that child in need. So the disrespect trickles down and harms other people. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR OR PRACTICE.

excellent surgeon, very accommodating with schedule

Will be switching Dr.'s have been a patient for years but needed some answers and it took them 3 weeks to respond to several phone calls from me. As a "Customer" I would never put up with this kind of service.

Dr. Leight has been my doctor for years. I have received excellent care that has been consistant over those years. I would and do recommend any woman looking for obgyn care to her.

I did not find her to be compassionate. No one in the office will pick up the telephone. You have to leave a message and wait for a call back..even to make an appointment!

It's been 16 days and I'm still waiting to hear back from my lab tests which were delivered to your office 14 days ago.Either hire more help or fire your staff. Unemployment is at 10% there are plenty of skilled people out there.
