Dr. Robin Ronette Price, MD

Dr. Price can be very pleasant during in office visits. However, I have received several misdiagnosed evaluations from her that resulted in serious conditions. I believe much of that was based on her not giving referrals for specialty care. In addition, there have been MANY times she either doesn't respond to my emails or it takes her more than 2 weeks to respond. I also find that she minimizes health concerns and writes medical summaries that are not always correct by writing conclusions that have not been discussed with me, the patient. There have also been times where medical issues that have shown up on tests for something else that she didn't follow up on. When requesting a referral, her first line of response is recommending physical therapy rather than a specialist. She is the reason why you must advocate for your quality of care as if your life depends on it. I know that she is the reason that I am waiting on open enrollment to get out of Kaiser after decades of membership. I… absolutely would not recommend her for any health care needs.

Over time, Dr. Price has gotten much better with being on time for scheduled in office appointments. I do not necessarily trust her medical assessments due to a few of them being way off and I had to request specialists to determine the issue. As her patient, I always feel that I have to be my own advocate. She is very good at providing additional text book information but not good at making referrals or seeking the root cause of a medical condition. Her bedside manner is congenial and pleasant. I get the sense that she gets defensive at times and I believe that has to do more with management pressing her to be more efficient with her time management. As her patient, I have to be diligent in managing my own health needs and finding supportive resources. If I could change to another PCP that I felt would provide better service, I would. But Kaiser has tanked over the past few years and the apathy is systemic. Lastly, she will add comments to my medical record that is irrelevant and was… not presented as an issue in our discussion. I believe she does that to present like she is exceeding expectations. I hope these areas improve over time because she could be better at her patient deliverables.

DR. PRICE is one of the best generals I have ever had. Navigating the new era of patient care cannot be easy for someone with such compassion. I have asked for back to back appointments so that the medical office gives enough time to actually talk about my care and not just go down a checklist.

I don't know what to say but I haven't received much care but I agree with other reviews that an hour long wait is likely for an 8 minute appointment with little to no resolve. KAISER IS JUST AWFULLLLL... I really don't think it's her.

I spent more than one hour in the room to see her as my primary care giver for the first time, and she did not show up in the room. This is my worst experience ever had with any caregiver considering the context of the visit. KP has all the staff on the floor and I am sure if Dr. Price was thoughtful and respectful of my time, she would be able to send me the message and give me some sort of feed forward for the delay. If you value your time, select a different care giver.

I Dr. Price is a doctor who really cares about her patients. I felt like she was totally interested in my overall health, and not just the problem I was seeing her about that day. I would like to continue going to this doctor if I can find where her practice is located. There should be more doctors like her.

Great doctor. I really like her. She doesnt rush, listens to you and has overall great bedside manner.
