Dr Yuan was swift in scheduling me for an extensor tendon repair which he completed quickly and without any complications. Additionally he saw me in his office for several weeks following, ensuring my recovery was on track. He was readily available for any questions or concerns I had following the procedure and I am pleased to say that my finger has recovered its original strength and range of motion. Dr Yuan is definitely the person to go to for someone who takes their time in listening to his patients needs and making sure he's part of their recovery every step of the way.

Dr. Yuan removed a dermoid cyst on my five year old son's eye brow that had been once removed before when he was a baby but had grown back. I was determined to find the best of the best plastic surgeon-- it just so turns out that I was led to Dr. Yuan who is not only a plastic surgeon but also has prior experience in pediatric cranial sacral growths. The experience we had with Dr. Yuan was nothing short of reassuring, safe and amazing. I was impressed with the due diligence involved prior to my son's surgery-- we had two in depth pre op visits and he was patient with all my my questions and concerns. He also wanted to be completely prepared for what he might come across when surgery began so he ordered the necessary imaging scans prior to surgery and we went over them in a detailed manor. A few months post op and my son's eye looks beautiful-- I could hardly tell he was operated on just days after his procedure. Thank you Dr Yuan, we feel so blessed to have been in your care.

Yuan is and has been with his professional guidance and expertise for two breast reconstructions during two separate mastectomies. He is an amazing doctor and a kind human being. During follow-up appointments with my 1st mastectomy surgeon, RN's said they could tell it was Dr. Yuan's work because the result was so remarkable! He takes all the time needed to discuss options that would be the best suited outcome, not only aesthetically, but psychologically, discussing every aspect of procedure, process, result, & recovery. Being diagnosed with cancer is stressful enough, so for me, my journey with cancer surgery and two breast reconstructions has been made more comforting in the expert hands of Dr. Yuan. A referral to a plastic surgeon from someone you respect, and trust is imperative, and it was that which lead to my decision to work with Dr. Yuan. Dr. Yuan really listens & also asked great questions to get to know me and my reasons for wanting his help. At every appointment after the initial meeting and leading up to the day of surgery and after surgery, Dr. Yuan was available to answer all of my question, address any concerns I had and make sure I was feeling comfortable each step of the way. This never wavered from the initial meeting to 6 months post-op. I had a challenging surgery ahead of me which we discussed. Dr. Yuan was able to explain each procedure so that I had an understanding of what steps would be taken to get me to my desired result. The explant surgery I had last month with Dr. Yuan, I was told by other surgeons would be difficult and possibly result in a deformity. I had spoken with several surgeons over the course of years. For years I put off surgery because I was told I could expect deformities such as dents, puckering, and nipple inversion, and that I would need two or more surgeries. Knowing how nervous I was, two of my physicians recommended Dr. Yuan as their first choice. Finding a surgeon I could trust not to damage my appearance and my health further took careful thought and questioning. Dr. Yuan did not promise that the results would be satisfactory after one surgery. He counseled me from his depth of knowledge, and with compassion toward my concerns: health, appearance long-term, and time away from my business. He also spent time personally speaking with my insurance company. At 5 weeks post-op, the results are so much better than I expected. I have natural symmetrical breasts and my nipples are… actually working properly again. I made the right choice among surgeons, and I can’t thank Dr. Yuan enough for helping me through this with minimal downtime. I had scheduled with another surgeon and cancelled, after meeting with Dr. Yuan and discussing my surgery plan and anesthesia. If you are looking for aesthetically beautiful results and a top surgeon in LA who is generous with his expertise and whose priority is your health and happiness, I recommend Dr. Yuan. Had I not found him, I probably would have traveled outside of LA for this surgery. I was concerned that my symmetrical healthy breasts which I had before getting implants could have been damaged, and that worry is now out of my life forever. My gift this holiday is that I do not need a second surgery to fix my appearance. There is no deformity. If I choose to have more fat transfer to go up another cup size, I will absolutely go back to Dr. Yuan. The lipo he did to my thighs is also total perfection.
