Dr. Robyn B. Faye, MD

Rushed through appointment...felt like I couldn’t get all my questions answered

I have been seeing Dr Faye since I was 16. I am 37 now. I saw a few other doctors in between but I always came back to her. She really cares about her patients and she takes time with them. She has been instrumental in treating my endometriosis and helping me get my life back. I am so happy she is in this field.

For years I went to a gyno who was just awful and yet I was too lazy to seek out another practice. When I finally had the last straw of patronizing garbage, I started looking around and I found Dr Faye. She's quite a gem and listens and treats me with respect and care. I'm so sorry I waited so long!

I am new to the area, and have seen Dr. Faye three times. She was very helpful in diagnosing and correcting the hormonal imbalance I was experiencing when I first visited her, and I am grateful for it. However, while I do believe she is a knowledgable doctor, her bedside manner is not a good fit for me. She rushes through appointments as if she is late for something, and has a tendency to start responding/diagnosing before I've finished a sentence. At our last appointment, she was condescending to me as if I were a child who needs to have basic math explained. I'm not a confrontational person so at the time I just rolled with it as best I could. Unfortunately, a new/young doctor was shadowing Dr. Faye during my visit and had to witness what I can only assume was a brief lapse in professionalism. I'd hate to think the condescension happens regularly, but I won't be sticking around to find out. I'll be looking for a new GYN doctor.

I've been with Dr. Faye for years, and she is consistent in her making this patient feel at ease. Dr. Faye is courteous, friendly, and makes sure she spends enough time with me for questions/followups; I have never felt rushed. She is the best.

My regular GYN is currently out on leave and I was scheduled with Dr. Faye. I loved her! She is quick and efficient and answered all my questions. I would highly recommended her!

I couldn't be more disappointed in a visit. She barely listened to me and rushed me through. Literally a five minute exam. I don't even know if what she did was correct so disappointed. She needs to retire

I've been seeing Dr. Faye for 20 years. She has been there for me through it all--good and bad health times. She is warm and caring to say the least. I switched practices to follow her to her current one and I'm thrilled I found her. It's not easy to find such a dedicated physician these days and she's that and more.

I ending waiting 1-1/2 hours to see the doctor. When I finally got to see her, she rushed through the exam, forgot to write me the prescription for my mammogram, and wrote the wrong medication down on my prescription. It may be time to look for a new doc.

Dr Faye is an excellent doctor. She is knowledgeable and caring. I recommend her to everyone I know. She is the best GYN in the area,
