Dr. Rochelle Yvonne Elijah, MD

Dr Elijah has been my doctor for 15 years. She asks about my concerns, discusses my options and follows through. She is pleasant and succinct. I have been healthy and very active thanks to her care.

What a great physician, always spend time with me as needed.

I’ve been seeing Dr Elijah for years and feel that she really cares about her patients. With me she is patient and compassionate. I think she’s very smart and it calms me to see her walk in the room. I’ve never been pushed off to a MA or PA. I highly recommed Dr Elijah. I do have concerns about some of her staff not doing their jobs with following through with the doctors orders, and lying about what’ve told her vs me.

Don't go to this doctor for health care! Horrible, never reviews lab results... Had recent lab test performed but never heard anything from her. Luckily the Lab provides on-line access to your results - Thank God for the information age!!! After reviewing my lab work on-line I found that I had results that were well above e the HIGH range. Being concerned for my well-being (since this provider doesn't care) I called, and of course, had to leave a voicemail. I indicated that I had lab work done over three weeks ago and that I have yet to hear anything from her. I also informed her that I reviewed the lab work results on-line and had concerns that some of the results were high. Several hours later I get a call stating that my labs are OK with no mention of my concers...Sounded like they were in a hurry to get off the phone with me so I didn't pursue the issue further. I don't even believe that anyone even looked at my lab results! Time to find a provider that really cares about their… patients!

They will not work with your insurance company if any additional information is needed. If anything is requested by your insurance company, they will tell you that they have submitted what is needed, only to later say that there is too much info to provide/fill out and simply tell you they will not do it. Nice way of showing how they really care about their patients. If you care about your health find a better provider, someone who really cares and will take the time to help and assist you in all areas of your health.

Provider and nurse are â??too busyâ?? to assist patients when there is an actual health concern. Returning a call and or voicemail will take a long time to return, when you leave a contact number seems like they always call the number they know you wonâ??t be reached at. Iâ??m now looking for a new providerâ?¦ someone who will actually take time for their patients..

From the medical assistant, to the authorization department, to the doctor, the staff has no compassion and is completely incompetent.

Very disappointed with her nurse. Her nurse is very rude and unprofessional!! I am on blood pressure medication and told to make an appointment in 30 days. The appointment was made however I can not get in, in that time frame. The nurse told oh well see you Tuesday. I will be with out that medication for 2 days.
