Dr. Rochelle Joly, MD

Dr Joly is always honest, shes very empathetic to my feelings and she listens. Dr Joly allows me to have options towards my treatment. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. Her staff is also very nice. Dr Joly and her team are the best.

I went to Dr. Joly because my previous OBGYN was not compassionate, attentive, or seemed to care for my general wellbeing and mental health. I waited a YEAR for the next appointment with a new patient and was painfully disappointed. When discussing my concerns and questions, she was blunt and slightly abrasive. When discussing weight loss options, she was dismissive and made inappropriate suggestions that I was shocked to hear come out of a doctors mouth. I am severely disappointed and would actively warn anyone that I knew was a patient of hers. I nearly started crying during the appointment. I believe all doctors should posses some degree of bedside manner or care, but especially with something as sensitive as a woman’s reproductive health, I would genuinely expect an overall kinder person. I do believe that Dr. Joly might be knowledgeable, but I do not believe she is kind or compassionate or caring. I did not get anything from this appointment that I couldn’t get from the… internet. I will NEVER go back.

I’m putting a 4 star review based on her seeing me at the last minute after my doctor became ill right before my appointment. However, her bedside manner could use some work. She explained things to me and she seemed to be irritated that I had questions about the pain medicine. If I have questions whether you feel the are useless or not, be patient. I was nervous and forgot to ask specific questions before I got there. My pressure was pretty high and she was aware so clearly you know I’m under some type of stress, and you still didn’t take that into consideration when I had some clarifying questions. My doctor has been great and if I didn’t have to see anyone else I would have only seen my doctor. I hope Dr Joly improves on her self awareness because I related too much with the 1-3 star reviews. She does a decent job on explaining what the next steps are, and she can do better with working on her patience. I would have given her a piece of my mind, which almost happened, and I didn’t… due to her seeing me last minute and the procedure itself. A biopsy is not a fun day at the park. Be more understanding and empathetic/sympathetic to the people you are caring for. I think when she cleans that up, she would be an amazing doctor!

I did not feel confident with Dr. Rochelle Joly during my visit. From the beginning, she told me that my condition was “cosmetic,” even after I explained that it causes discomfort and pain during daily activities such as showering. During the procedure, she applied lidocaine spray but did not allow enough time for the anesthetic to take effect before attempting to inject additional lidocaine. The injection caused significant pain, and I immediately asked to stop the procedure. I felt that she appeared nervous and unprofessional throughout, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Given how sensitive the area is, I would have appreciated a more patient and reassuring approach. I ultimately decided not to continue with the procedure because I didn’t feel safe or properly cared for.

Dr. Joly is knowledgeable and seems to be a good physician, and I trust her for my annual exams. However, I don’t always feel comfortable bringing up concerns, as she can come across a bit detached or somewhat judgmental. Because of this, I usually just stick to my yearly check-ups without going deeper into issues I might otherwise want to discuss. I believe she provides solid care, but I wish the communication and patient comfort level were stronger.

Dr Joly, is professional and compassionate. She listened to my concerns and addressed them immediately.

A very bad experience and do not recommend. She’s a poor diagnostician, uninterested, rushed and not a very good woman’s dr. Her staff is rude, and the billing department is incompetent, unable to correctly file insurance claims. All in all, the worst of everything.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joly for many years and have consistently received excellent care from her and her team. Dr. Joly is highly knowledgeable and experienced. She and her staff always respond to my concerns and questions promptly, making me feel truly cared for as a patient. Recently, Dr. Joly performed a surgery on me, and it was a seamless experience. I noticed some reviews mentioning that she works quickly. In my opinion, this is a testament to her experience and efficiency. Do you really need a lengthy procedure to feel cared for, or would you prefer a quick, less painful, and effective experience? I certainly appreciate the latter.

Dr. Joly is the best! She thinks carefully about whatever problem I bring to her and offers alternatives. She is NOT dogmatic and open to discussing options. I am very very grateful for her availability in times of a crisis, low waiting time, and efficiency. Very nice staff, too! Thank you Dr. Joly!!
