Dr. Rochelle Denise Wilburn, MD

Can't judge expertise or knowledge. First visit felt like Dr did not care. Very dry and unconcerned? I don't feel like she cares. Not returning

I hate going to gyne doctor and had put off my appointment for ages. Finally my primary doctor pushed me to go. Dr. Wilburn could sense I was nervous and she calmed me down, answered all my questions, and made me feel at ease. During my last appointment I was so uncomfortable, but again Dr.Wilburn was there to explain the entire process. Her nurses were beyond great and the front staff were very nice. Going to the gyne office isn't so bad now and I thank Dr.Wilburn for being caring and having good bedside manners.

I saw her through my whole 2nd pregnancy and then some after my daughter was born. She is passive aggressive, doesn't seem to care about her patients and is constantly late. Ellen her nurse is amazing. But the staff in the front is ridiculous. I would constantly wait for over 45 minutes only to find out after that 45 minutes that she was in labor & delivery. No one would ever mention that to me. She got me confused with other patients all the time and wouldn't even read my chart before coming in. She didn't deliver my baby - Dr. Tom her associate did and I highly recommend him. She didn't event come to see me or the baby after she was born even though she was on shift.

I'm having my first child and have multiple high risk factors. She has proven herself to me time after time. I appreciate the amount of time she spends with me and listens to all of my worries and concerns. Her bedside manner is incredible and it has taken me a long time to find an OB I actually like. The reception staff and the Oswego and Rush-Copley offices are often short and snotty and it frustrates me, but Ellen, Dr. Wilburn's head nurse and Dr. Wilburn make it worth the inconvenience of the less than professional support staff.

I have been seeing her since mid 2007 and couldn't be happier with my decision to use her as my ob/gyn. I had a high risk pregnancy and was very well cared for beyond my expectations. She is a very caring person.

You don't even want to know the details. Passive aggressive and cruel doctor. This is not someone you want overseeing your gynecological health.
