Not worth it. Wasted my time and day. He will cancel the apts at last minute

Your chart here will not be accurate. You will most likely be discharged for asking it to reflect your actual encounter. However, Rocky Fowler was the first physician willing to think outside the box in identifying the causes of my chronic fatigue. He was willing to give me the adhd medication I needed, in order to lead myself to a diagnosis that isn’t related to my mental health. Sentara was unwilling and gaslit me for many years. Although I am unhappy how it ended, I am grateful that I found myself in his care. I would not have found a tangible reason for why I’m in such a sharp physical decline.

I’m incredibly disappointed after my visit today. He lied in my chart and to my face. I honestly thought that Dr. Fowler wanted to help me but like the rest, he chooses the easy out; Anxiety and Depression. He put this in my chart, which will affect my referral and diagnosis. I have begged for someone to pay attention to my neurological symptoms for years. Anxiety and Depression do not explain the inability to move my neck or use my hands. It’s doesn’t explain why my back was destroyed by age 30 or why I have fought kidney stones and cysts on and off since my mid 20’s. It doesn’t explain incontinence or why I always feel like I have a fever. It doesn’t explain why I had such terrible endometriosis. It doesn’t explain why I can’t have a simple phone conversation without it draining all my energy. It doesn’t explain my sensitivity to the sun and the rash that pops out on my legs. I can’t even sit my arms on the arms of my chair or anywhere because the muscle or joints hurt so bad I can’t… touch them. I can’t use my hands for the smallest task because touching them, they feel like bare bone and it hurts. I have no quality of life and I fear at some point I will have to give up because I’m tired of trying to get you people to believe me. I literally can’t even drive a car, not just because it exhausts me but because I’ve had muscle weakness since 2018. Numbness and tingling in my hands since age 20. Everyone always pushes me to someone else and no one will believe me. I am going to end up like my mom and grandmother because no one will take the time to help me with a diagnosis. My family will end up starving because I can’t get disability without a true answer. This is wrong. Healthcare is broken. The anxiety and depression was ONLY added after I went for help with mental fog and was diagnosed with ADHD. These were added to maintain prescriptions at RMH Behavioral Health. They should be taken with a grain of salt. I’ve never been able to tolerate any of the ridiculous meds those people tried to shove at me. What you don’t realize is I have been a hard worker until I couldn’t ignore the pain anymore. So I started work from home and now I can’t even do that. I can’t sit in front of my computer without my neck hurting so bad I get a headache in my head and eyes. He didn’t listen to anything I said. I cannot afford to keep self medicating and declining. I am 40 and shouldn’t be in this shape. Do not trust your condition to this man.
